Tom Garrett is the owner of Union Hill Travel based in Kansas City. Tom is a seasoned travel executive with 30+ years of experience in destination and product marketing. His travel industry experience includes stints at Alaska Discovery Expeditions, Glacier Bay Tours & Cruises, Juneau Convention & Visitors Bureau and YMT Vacations. He served for four years as the Alaska Director of Tourism, marketing the state in the US, Canada, UK, Japan, Korea and Germany. He has also worked extensively with luxury hotel and resort properties in both Arizona and California.

He was raised in Alaska, attended college in California and England, had a horse ranch in Arizona, and now lives in Kansas City, Missouri in a 129 year-old brick Victorian home on Union Hill near downtown with his wife Stacy, a Realtor and actress.
