I am Carol McKee, a travel advisor and specialist, and owner of McKee Travel, a Virtuoso member agency affiliated with Gifted Travel Network. I plan and book custom trips for clients across the United States, and I work with travelers who want expert planning and a real professional in their corner, not a booking website.

My specialty is expedition travel and small ship cruising. I have personally traveled to Antarctica, the Galapagos, the Arctic, and Africa, and throughout Europe. I plan African safaris, polar expedition cruises, European river cruises, ocean cruises, luxury hotel stays, anniversary trips, milestone celebrations, multi country itineraries, and bucket list travel. My team also plans honeymoons, babymoons, and family travel. When I recommend an expedition ship, a safari camp, or a river cruise itinerary, it is because I have been there and I know what good looks like.

Here is how I work. We start with a conversation, not a form. I want to understand what kind of traveler you are before I suggest a single destination. Then I build the trip using vetted suppliers and in destination partners I have real relationships with, and I handle the logistics, the communication, and the what do I do if questions while you travel.
