About Me
Growing up in the diverse city of San Francisco inspired Foray Founder & CEO Sarah Lang to explore from an early age, and she first moved abroad at the age of 15 to spend a school year learning Spanish in Zaragoza, Spain. Since then, her studies and career led her to become a resident in places as diverse as Hungary, England, Germany and Hong Kong, and to visit over 60 other countries around the globe.
A recent 13 month long solo trip to 21 countries found Sarah exploring long-forgotten ruins in Central America, road-tripping across Australia and New Zealand, island-hopping through Southeast Asia, and dancing her way through the Caribbean. Throughout her journey she embraced the transformative power of travel and decided there and then to devote her career to creating similar meaningful experiences for others. She strongly believes in the power of travel to break down barriers, open minds, and help people achieve their personal and professional goals. And with that, Foray was born.
Sarah holds an MSc in Environmental Science, Policy, and Management from the University of Manchester in England and uses her background to remain at the forefront in the field of sustainable travel and events. She also holds a Certificate in Corporate Innovation from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and is active in the Silicon Valley travel start-up community. Sarah is proud to be one of the very first Virtuoso travel advisors worldwide to offer the innovative Wanderlist travel portfolio platform to her clients.
Sarah is most content when cozying up in the famous San Francisco fog in her home town, riding a scooter through the verdant rice fields of Bali, or salsa dancing her way through the pulsing streets of Havana.
