I have been interested in travel since I was a young adult and ventured to Ontario with a comrade to learn about engineering radios. Following a serious car accident on my return home for a vacation break, I delved into education program in the profession of teaching. I enjoyed showing children about the ways and interests of various people in the world. Personal travel involved showing my children the traditional vacations such as Disneyland in California and Disneyworld in Florida. As time went on, my wife & I obtained an interest in Mexico and spent vacations there for about 12 years. When retired from teaching, my wife Melissa & I acquired a teacher resource and specialty toy retail business, from which we attended several conventions/trade shows all over Canada & the United States-each trip was extended to include an enjoyable and educational tour or two about the area: such as New Orleans, Dallas, San Antonio, Minneapolis, Providence, Orlando, We would attend events such as hockey, basketball, baseball games, city tours, countryside tours. I always enjoy meeting new people & learning about how their lifestyle differs from ours back home in Canada.
