My name is Marlain Wietzes and I started my travel career 34 years ago as a reservations agent for Wardair, after a few years I moved into the product and cruise department for Wardair Holidays. It was a good training ground providing a solid foundation in various aspects of the industry. I went on to work for a large corporate agency, an incentive house, leisure retail agency, a hotel and a Japan based travel company. But my fascination with travel started at a very young age as I loved to watch my grandfather's slide shows of his worldwide travels.

I have traveled extensively throughout the US, Caribbean, Asia and Europe, but my bucket list is still very long. I have a passion for travel and have been lucky to travel to some far off lands as a tour guide. I have had dinner in the Eiffel Tower, and on the Seine. I have taken the Eurostar through the Chunnel. I have crept along the nightingale floors of Nijo Castle and I have watched a final World Cup Soccer game from behind the goal line. I love to share my experiences and my expertise.

When my son was diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes in 2004, our lives changed drastically. I could no longer commute and be gone for 14 hours a day. I needed a more flexible schedule and I needed to be home after school. The only way to do this was to work from home. It was the perfect time to shift focus and start my own travel business designing travel itineraries for my clients. After many lean years of building my business, I have finally reached my ultimate goal of earning the distinction and privilege of being a Virtuoso Member.

Being a Virtuoso Member gives me easy access to the best travel suppliers worldwide. It provides me with recognition and the ability to provide my clients with value added benefits. While I have always aimed to provide custom designed experiences for my clients, I am now able to do it so much easier, with all the necessary tools at my fingertips.

I love to travel, see new places, meet new people, enjoy new experiences. More than anything, I love the feedback from clients that my knowledge, care and attention helped them create lasting memories.
