Founder Kristen Nix has been recognized as a Four Seasons Preferred Partner Global Top Producer for five consecutive years and as a Rosewood Elite Global Top Producer. Before founding Kristen Nix Travel, Kristen earned her master’s degree from Ithaca College and built a successful career as a physical therapist in New York, California and Montana, where she later served as Director of Rehabilitation. After more than a decade of working with a Virtuoso advisor to plan her own travels, she combined her love of extraordinary hotels, appreciation for exceptional service, and an entrepreneurial spirit to create Kristen Nix Travel.

Today, Kristen draws upon years of firsthand travel, deep industry relationships and an instinctive understanding of what makes a hotel truly special. She believes the right property can transform an entire vacation, and that choosing it should be every bit as thoughtful as choosing the destination itself. A spectacular pool and an excellent breakfast never hurt, either.

Kristen lives in the beautiful mountain town of Whitefish, Montana, with her husband, George. Their son, Johnny, is a senior at the University of Georgia. When she is not working or traveling, Kristen enjoys skiing, golf, cooking, and yoga. Her favorite kind of vacation will always be a beautiful luxury resort on the beach, which admittedly makes researching hotels a particularly enjoyable part of the job.
