While perhaps a little newer in the travel industry, I am exceptionally passionate about travel and possess a wealth of firsthand knowledge having personally visited many popular vacation destinations around the globe. I have completed rigorous agent training with Travel Professionals International(TPI), and continue to attain various certifications – Cruiselines(Cunard, Princess, Royal Caribbean, NCL, Carnival, AMAWaterways), Disney, Sandals, Air Canada – and attend specialized marketing events to provide accurate, current travel information to better assist our valued clientele.

I come to the travel industry with over 14 years experience in IT(valuable in our high tech world), working with the Government of Canada. In addition, I have over 7 years experience working in the consumer electronics retail industry for a major Canadian electronics retailer, including in human resources at corporate head office while residing in several Canadian cities over the years.

My love for travel began at the young age of seven, when I accompanied by parents on an amazing vacation to Barbados. I have childhood memories of meeting a kind old lady who sold the most delicious coconut fudge candy on the beach .... not to mention seeing tropical palm trees, coconuts for the first time in my life. In the many years that followed, I have been fortunate to have “roamed the globe” to various parts of the world - USA, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Cook Islands, as well as the Caribbean – Jamaica, Cuba, and Mexico …… and I have every intention of adding to the list!

I consider myself to be very lucky to have an amazing opportunity to help make peoples travel dreams come true alongside one of the most a fantastic, well-respected, businesswoman in the travel industry (I may be biased!) – the love of my life and partner in Roam the Globe Travel, Dorothy Beaton.

On the personal side, I have a wide variety of interests which fill my spare time. I have a love of music (studied Jazz saxophone in university), dancing (Salsa, Latin, Jazz and World music ) and motorcycles (owned a Honda Shadow, CBF1000 and ST1300, a Suzuki Boulevard C90T and most recently a Harley Davidson Road Glide).
