David Bragg is a Nashville-based travel advisor and independent affiliate of SmartFlyer. He spent over a decade as an engineer before a trip to Vail introduced him to someone who worked in luxury ski travel and saw where he belonged before he did; he learned the business from there.

What matters most to him now are the relationships with the partners who make extraordinary trips possible, and with clients he takes the time to actually understand. Europe remains where he sends the most clients, but he's drawn increasingly to the kind of trip that's hard to plan alone, safari and ski especially. He's been back to Africa a handful of times, with plenty of the continent still on his list, and he tries to hit a new mountain most winters. When he recommends a property or an operator, it's usually one he's traveled with himself.
