About Me
Travel is a great connector; by learning about one another and the unique ways in which we approach the human experience, we come to realize we are all so very different, but also so very alike. It is an honor and a privilege to really get to know my clients—and what they want to take away from their trips—and research to put all the pieces in place for them. Every day presents a new challenge; every day presents an opportunity to create memories and meaning.
While on a family vacation when my children were very young, I came to realize how important it is to get away from the commotion of everyday life. The memories we have of each trip has helped build bonds within our family that now extend to our grandchildren. So travel became a priority for me.
After receiving my business degree from the University of Missouri St. Louis and my MBA from Maryville University, I spent almost two decades as a Systems Manager at Washington University. My love of research and details made me the default trip planner for all personal travel—multigenerational family vacations, relaxing, spa-focused girlfriend getaways, and exploratory excursions to satisfy my inner adventurer. The informal feedback I received after these trips was overwhelming—it was all so very positive! And the experiences—from the planning to the doing—were so rewarding for me.
As I had also learned the incredible value of using a travel advisor, it only made sense to join them in helping others on a professional level.
I started in the travel business in 2014. In 2015, I decided to join SmartFlyer, a member of Virtuoso, to bring my passion and skill set to a wider population. I believe the purpose of travel is to make memories, expand our perspectives, meet new people, and do new things. I enjoy helping others plan trips so that they can explore their destinations unknown, expand their horizons, decompress, and make lasting, unforgettable impressions.
