Michele's passion for travel was fuelled when she gave up the world of high finance in London for the high mountains in the Himalayas. She then studied Spanish in Guatemala and travelled extensively through Latin America for 18 months, including working for a local charity, leading trekking groups, hiking the Andes, visiting Galapagos and immersing in the culture.

In 1999, Michele became a tour leader for a UK adventure tour operator, eight years leading trekking holidays across Europe, Africa, Latin America, and Asia. She has climbed Kilimanjaro 8 times, Aconcagua 3 times, hiked the Inca Trail 6 times and been to Everest Base Camp 5 times! She has also organized and led many charity fundraising groups. Michele moved to Vancouver in 2007 and has been at Renshaw Travel since 2009.

She specializes in arranging Custom Tours and Adventure Travel, with a vast worldwide knowledge, especially in Latin America, India, SE Asia & Africa, and Europe. She knows most worldwide trekking destinations, and continues to lead occasional tours.
