I am the Senior Vice President of Leisure Sales & Marketing of Protravel International, a full-service, dynamic corporate and leisure travel agency with an award-winning reputation for its excellence in luxury travel. As a seasoned travel executive, I have been in the travel industry for 50 years and oversee approximately 1,000 employees at 20 locations in the United States and the United Kingdom. With annual sales of nearly $1 billion, Protravel International is headquartered in New York City. Since 2012, the agency has been part of the $20 billion Travel Leaders Group, which manages the operations of more than 6,500 company-owned, franchised and affiliated travel agencies in the United States and Canada. I am based at Protravel’s New York headquarters. Before becoming a part of Protravel in 2000, I held various leadership positions in the travel industry, gaining wide-ranging experience in travel management and hospitality. In 1995, I served as President of Leisure and Vendor Relations of McCord Travel Management overseeing approximately 125 independent contractors. Prior to his appointment at McCord Travel Management I founded Zenith Travel in 1964. I helped to grow the company to prominence for over 30 years until it was sold to McCord Travel Management in 1995.

I graduated from Washington & Jefferson College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and earned an MBA in Hotel and Institutional Management from Michigan State University—School of Business.
