"Experience" is probably the word I'd choose to best describe my talent as a travel adviser. I joined the travel industry in 1958 while still in college by organizing a European Tour for my international sorority. It was a success and the Washington, DC agency through whom I arranged the tour hired me as their Collegiate Tour Director. Fast forward 59 years, it has been a continual learning experience. After a number of years as an Independent Contractor designing and handling both individual and group tours throughout the world, I opened my own agency in 1978 upon moving to Hilton Head Island, SC. In 2000 we proudly became an associate agency of Valerie Wilson Travel. In planning trips for my clients, I constantly rely upon my own experiences and travels throughout the world. Experience is the best teacher. There are few places in the world I have not yet visited and few travel experiences I have not yet experienced firsthand. If you want to go there, most likely I've been there and can provide you with a trip built upon firsthand knowledge!
