Kylan’s introduction to travel began at a very young age with trips to South Africa and Thailand before he was five! It was inevitable that he join Civilized Adventures family adventures to Kenya and the Galapagos. Since then, Kylan’s love of traveling has taken him to countries such as China, Jordan, Thailand, expedition cruise to Antarctica including one time with his wife Jackie on their honeymoon. Kylan has embarked on a journey to Papua New Guinea combined with Australia for the Solar Eclipse (2012).

Kylan’s greatest expertise is in the continent of Africa having visited it 14 times. Some of the countries explored include Kenya & Tanzania for the migration and Kilimanjaro, exploring Zanzibar extensively; South Africa - Cape Town, Garden route and Safari; Uganda - Chimp and Gorilla Trekking; Botswana - safari in the Okavango Delta; Namibia - Sossusvlei and desert skies; Zimbabwe - explored Victoria Falls by foot and helicopter, Safari in remote part of Mana Pools.
