Foreign places, peoples and cultures have always interested me so I joined Bee Kalt Travel at age 20, training under Steven Kalt in the Orient department and Mrs. Bee Kalt in the cruise department. When I began my family, I became an outside agent to keep my 'foot in the door', then returned to the office full time when my 4th child entered kindergarten. I've been very fortunate to have visited 6 continents (Asia is my favorite) and have sailed on 23 cruises with my most recent being a Tauck European river cruise and the Regent Seven Seas Explorer visiting Chile, Patagonia, the Falkland Islands, Uruguay & Argentina. If I could choose a once-in-a-lifetime trip for everyone to experience, it would be a safari - it is absolutely surreal and the memory of it will remain with you for the rest of your life. Besides travel, my other interests are family, dogs, perennial & organic gardening, health/natural foods, classical music, Spanish guitar, Bible study & chess. I love the planning itineraries and enjoy researching areas, logistics, sites and hotels I'm not yet familiar with.
