The daughter of an importer who traveled around the world several times a year, you might say I was born to become a travel advisor!

I began my company, Great Getaways Travel, in 1992 in a suburb of Kansas City, Missouri (Leawood, Kansas) because I felt we needed qualified, well-traveled professionals. From the beginning we've focused solely on vacations (read that as any travel experience that is NOT for business).

One of my favorite sayings is "Cookie cutter vacations are great---if you're a cookie cutter!" Having visited all 7 continents, I want you to experience your destination---not just visit it.
