Books and articles on politics, geography, sports and history can enhance our knowledge but travel takes all of this and brings it alive. Reading in the news about an geographical location may be interesting but after visiting a region, the traveler gets to see firsthand all the nuances of the location.

I began my international travel with my children when they were just pre-teens. We traveled every summer to different regions of the worlds. Today they have their own families and continue the tradition. Travel enhances our understanding, our education and may even change our perception of ourselves and others.

I have been a travel advisor for more than 30 years. I have been to all 7 continents and have helped clients visit the places of their dreams as well as places that they never dreamed about.
