As a child, I traveled with my grandmother and had my first life-changing adventure with her—riding in a helicopter.  My taste for adventure had been awakened!

After a career in academia and time being a stay-at-home mother, that taste for excitement was revived when I learned from a travel agency owner that Virtuoso was offering a certification program in adventure travel and was seeking participants.  Since then, I have rafted one of the headwaters that feed into the Amazon, rappelled down a mountain in Canada, sipped bubbly after biking in the Loire Valley and skied throughout the West and Europe.  Although I was already an avid skier, these other feats fed my spirit!

My world of experiences and connections, especially since 1999 , when I entered the travel business, enables me to create unique trip designs.  My focus has broadened from active travel to include multi-activity itineraries that allow my clients to be immersed in many cultures.  I love the details in creating those unforgettable experiences!

I love, also, working with both seasoned travelers and those who have not traveled before.  Our shared passion for new experiences has led to lasting relationships.
