Day 1
Antigua, Guatemala

Since its genesis Casa Santo Domingo was the bastion of one of the most grand convents of America the one that sheltered the followers of the order of Santo Domingo de Guzman. It is an important part of the beautiful colonial reliquary that preserves in its bowels the treasures from the baroque period of ancestral America.

Each corner of this house each stone each image and each piece that composes this unequaled whole of works becomes a lost page in time which one by one are joined forming a beautiful chapter of the grand book of our history. This innovative Hotel-Museum offers 128 rooms with special characteristics. Day 3
Lake Atitlan, Guatemala

Day 4
Lake Atitlan, Guatemala

Tour: Kayak, Tzununa hike & San Juan village tour

After breakfast, boat transfer to Santa Cruz for kayak gear pick up. You will paddle for approximate 45 minutes along delightful peninsulas admiring the shore's beautiful gardens. The views are spectacular with three stunning volcanoes, Atitlan, San Pedro, and Toliman.

After kayaking you will start the hike to Tzununa. The hike takes you several hundred feet above the ever-changing waters of Atitlan for breath taking views of the famous volcanoes. Then descend into the Pumpatin Canyon for a nature walk along the banks of the river. You will experience two different ecosystems as we walk from the upper lakeshore into the narrow canyon.

After the hike, boat transfer to San Juan village. San Juan la Laguna is famous for its naïf art galleries, town murals and natural dyes textiles. This town is set as an example of organization and tourism destination among the highlands. Its beauty and cooperatives have set the perfect village.

Day 5
Flores, Guatemala

Day 6
Flores, Guatemala

Tour: Tikal Tour

Your tour guide will meet you at the lobby for transfer you to Tikal National Park. Your guide will show you the layout of the temples, architecture, history, some theories of why the Mayans disappeared and if you are lucky a few monkeys, parrots, macaws and toucans will be on site. After the tour, enjoy lunch at a restaurant in the middle of the jungle. After lunch, transfer back to your hotel.

Day 7
San Ignacio, Belize

Day 8
San Ignacio, Belize

Tour: Actun Tunichil Muknal Cave Full Day

Ranked as one of the Top 10 Caves in the world By the National Geographic Magazine, the cave trips starts with an hour and a half drive from San Ignacio followed by a 40 minute trek through the Tapir Mountain Nature Reserve to the Cave Entrance.

ATM Cave is only recommended for those of an adventurous spirit who have a good level of fitness. The underground stream flows out of the cave entrance and it’s necessary to take a short swim into the cave (water depth is about 12 feet). About 3 hours is spent in the cave and it is necessary to squeeze through some tight spaces and climb over rocks to reach to the different levels.

The rewards are worth it. Two small carved stelae are located above the stream, one carved in the shape of an obsidian blade and the other a stingray spine. On thenext level lies the cave’s most famous occupant, the crystal maiden, an ancient victim of ritual sacrifice probably from the Late Classic Period.
