Sample some Romanian cuisine—the Casa Dracula (original home of Vlad, the model for Count Dracula) is now a restaurant specializing in hearty meat and game dishes of the region. I never thought that I would be find myself walking along the streets of the West Bank. Whether it was visiting a Palestinian refuge camp in Bethlehem, negotiating with a restaurant owner to get us seated in Old Jerusalem, or finding us a place for dinner in Nazareth, Naz made everything go smoothly because of his relationships with people in the community and his ability to make us feel accepted in whichever community we found ourselves.
