nights, we look forward to all of the wonder that lies in

store for us.

We take in Chinatown, the Hockey Hall of Fame,

Toronto’s waterfront and the CN Tower. Following lunch

at Blu Ristorante, join one of two Your World experiences:

- Explore the many galleries, theatres and cafes of the

Distillery Historic District.

- Behold the enthralling art installations, cultural exhibits

and natural history at the Royal Ontario Museum.

This evening, we enjoy a Welcome Dinner of distinctly

Canadian fare beneath a horizon of tall towers.

At Niagara Falls, we get as close to the action as

possible; feeling the spray and mist as we pass by on

a Hornblower Niagara cruise. An optional helicopter

flight provides the ultimate bird’s-eye view. Enjoy

some free time before returning to Toronto late in

the afternoon, then choose to dine at our hotel or

at one of the specially selected local restaurants.

This morning, we depart Toronto, bound for Kingston,

gateway to the Thousand Islands National Park. Here,

we relax on a cruise amid the islands that dot the

St Lawrence River. Later, we arrive at Canada’s capital,

Ottawa, staying at the illustrious Château Laurier.

On a tour of Ottawa, we take in the parliamentary

buildings, Government House and pass by the official

residence of the prime minister. By rail, we head for

Montréal, checking in to the lavish Ritz-Carlton Montréal.

Montréal’s bicultural heritage reveals itself through its

many museums, festivals and performing arts centres.

With the city beautifully bathed in leaves of green, orange

and red, we stop at the summit of Mount Royal Park for

panoramic views, before setting out on a guided visit

of Notre-Dame Basilica. Enjoy the afternoon to explore

or join one of the following Your World experiences:

- Tour the extensive collection of paintings, sculptures

and decorative arts at Montréal’s Museum of Fine Arts.

- Participate in the French-Canadian tradition, the Sugar

Shack. Traditionally held to celebrate winter’s end,

maple syrup-infused beverages are the drink of choice.

Check out of the Ritz-Carlton this morning and choose

- Take a food tour, beginning in Old Montréal. Head to

Saint-Laurent Boulevard, a non-stop cultural hub and

conclude in North America’s largest outdoor market,

the Jean Talon Market.

- Take in the delightful tricoloured foliage of the

trees blanketing the Laurentian Mountains, then join

a gondola ride to the summit of Mont-Tremblant.

Returning to Montréal this afternoon, we embark Silver

Wind. Experience supreme comfort on board this sleek

and luxurious ship as we cruise to each new port.

The night has taken us along the St Lawrence River to

Québec City. We tour the citadel, old port of Québec

and the iconic Fairmont Le Château Frontenac. Through

the city’s enchanting, narrow alleyways, we meander

our way down towards the waterfront.

This afternoon, choose to embark on one of the following

Your World experiences:

- Lap up the rural French charm evident in Île d’Orléans

and the gushing white waters of Montmorency Falls.

- In Wendake – a self-governing territory – enjoy

a First Nations cultural experience. Visit La Traite,

a restaurant located in an aboriginal boutique hotel,

which is unique to Québec.

Cruising further along the St Lawrence River, we arrive

at Tadoussac. Renowned for its water activities and hiking,

we come to appreciate its pristine wilderness surrounds

environment on a whale watching tour.

- Embark on a wildlife discovery journey at the

Interpretation Centre on Marine Mammals,

followed by a visit to a local farm.

The red cliffs of Îles de la Madeleine prop up quaint

homes of varying, bright colours. We spy a convoy

of kayaks leisurely weaving their way around its

then learn about the shipwrecks that occurred around

the islands at the Musée de la Mer.

- Visit a smokehouse and taste the delectable smoked

in the Nova Scotian capital, Halifax. Between the green

the Spring Garden Road area and the Maritime

Museum of the Atlantic.

- Take a full-day Annapolis Valley epicurean adventure,

Arriving in the USA, we pass some of the charming

Victorian mansions built by America’s elite at the turn

of the 20th century. We continue on to the 35,000-acre

Savour a lobster lunch before we return to Silver Wind.

This morning, explore Boston’s Freedom Trail, learning

about the historical sites that figured in the American

Revolution, including Boston Common, King’s Chapel

and the Old State House. Following lunch on board

- Return to the Faneuil Hall area and explore more

of the Freedom Trail.

- Visit the prestigious Boston Museum of Fine Arts.

Down the famous Hudson River we cruise as the iconic,

picture-perfect view of New York City comes into view.

Our group disembarks and bids farewell to Silver Wind.

Yellow cabs, skyscrapers and fluttering flags of stars and

stripes greet us as we take a tour of Upper Manhattan

and the Upper East Side. Purveyors of the finest designer

wear abound as we meander along Madison Avenue.

Take a stroll down Museum Mile and explore the

Guggenheim Museum and the Metropolitan Museum

of Art. Arrive at the expansive Central Park and take

a momentary reprieve from the non-stop activity of

New York’s streets.

After checking in to the Baccarat Hotel, we adjourn

for dinner before being treated to a Broadway Show.

On a tour of Lower Manhattan, visit the New York Stock

Exchange, Wall Street and the new World Trade Centre.

At the 9/11 memorial, the name of each person who lost

their life in the attacks is inscribed into the panels around

two vast man-made waterfalls. Also, view the New York

skyline from One World Trade Observation Deck.

Further immerse yourself in New York’s culture with

the following Your World experiences:

- Appreciate New York’s Art Deco icons, accompanied

by a New York architect. Includes the Chrysler Building,

the Waldorf-Astoria and Rockefeller Center.

- Visit the world-renowned Metropolitan Museum of

Art, which includes an astonishing array of paintings,

sculptures, photographs and other significant works

of art from around the world.

Tonight, we enjoy a Farewell Dinner at River Cafe.

On our final day in New York, spend the morning on your

schedule or take the opportunity to experience the High

Line walk, a meandering green trail built on an elevated

section of the decommissioned New York Railroad on

Manhattan’s West Side. This afternoon, we say our

goodbyes and part ways with smiles on our faces.
