The South West of England is rich in history and natural beauty. From the mysterious stones of Avebury and Stonehenge, to the Uffington White Horse, Bath and the Salisbury Cathedral, there is plenty for a full day out.
If you are interested in visiting Stonehenge and other sites in the area you may consider a full day itinerary from London. The best way to go about it is to take the train from London to Salisbury. From there our driver and docent will pick you up, you will have the opportunity to visit Salisbury and its beautiful cathedral before moving on to Stonehenge. After spending a couple of hours there, you may continue with a visit to the village of Avebury or proceed directly to Bath for a quick lunch and an afternoon visit of the town.
At the end of the day, you'll return to London on one of the many direct trains from Bath to London.
