About Us

A&K Peru, the first of five A&K offices in South America, was opened in 2000. In our eighteen year history, we have grown to have 60 full-time, multilingual staff in our Lima office and 10 in our operations office in Cusco, all of whom share a wealth of experience in Peruvian tourism, as well as a passion for creating unforgettable experiences for our clients. The size of our team means that we are big enough to handle the largest of operations, such as congresses, incentives and cruise operations, but we are also small enough to offer a specialized, tailor-made and personal service without losing sight of the finer details.

The best tour ever

By: Don

First, Ross Voss is the best guide anywhere. We learned so much in a casual, conversational way. His background and knowledge enables him to cover all aspects of Israel: the ruins, the history, the geology, the flora and fauna, the people, the political/governance situation. Ross took us to some of his favorite restaurants which we loved. Also, Simon was extremely helpful and engaging. He was able to extend our stay at the King David because of our late flight home.

Our guides spoke excellent English and were very accommodating of our needs and wants. Our connections were made without a single misstep. The drivers were terrific. Every aspect of our A&K adventure was wonderful.

Our guides were fantastic. They took care of us. But more importantly they were flexible with trip changes to allow us to create the experience we were looking for. Also they accommodated everyone in our family from giving us the history to relating with our kids with information they were interested in. First class.

We were so impressed with the Guides who facilitated our trip. They were efficient, knowledgeable, energetic, fun and flexible. We were so overwhelmed with the richness of Peru and it's history, but they were able to explain so much to us. It really added to the quality of the trip. Every guide was different.....but all were excellent! They were patient with us, and guided us in many ways that were very helpful....shopping advise, rest, food, climbing and hiking at Machu Pichu. Our guide for 3 days in Cusco and at Machu Pichu was so wonderful!! He was able to assess our group and customize our time there so that we learned and experienced so much. We felt like he was a very good friend by the end of our trip!! That's probably the best compliment I could give. I would highly recommend the services of Abercrombie & Kent.

Abercrombie & Kent did an excellent job. Our experience was very positive. Our "guardian angel" - Gerard, our guides - Javier (Ollantaytambo, Machu Pichu, and Cusco), Alberto (Lima), and Julio (Lima). Also, our driver, Omar (Cusco & Ollaantaytambo) and our Lima driver (I lost my notes recording his name) did an outstanding job as well! All were extremely professional and friendly - we appreciate very much their efforts to make our trip an enjoyable and worry-free experience! Thank you!

Tour of The Old Course, St. Andrews, Scotland

By: Diana Chandler

Reviewed on: 22 Jul 2018

Our travel agent set up a private, one-hour tour of the Old Course through Abercrombie & Kent and our St. Andrews guide, 82 yr old Jim Bowie, was fabulous! He was EXTREMELY knowledgeable with the history of, not only golf in Scotland, but with The Old Course as well. Jim is fit as a fiddle (golfs 6 days of the week!), and really took the time to answer questions and show us around in a leisurely fashion...he actually went over the one-hour limit—-we were thrilled to learn as much of the history of golf in Scotland as we could! We ended the tour at the golf shop where an Old Course golf ball and scorecard were given to each of us for booking the tour. This is included with a group tour as well. Afterward, Abercrombie & Kent had set up a luncheon reservation at Swilcan Clubhouse (you pay your own food/drink bill) and even though we were running late, they held our table at the windows overlooking the course! We would highly recommend using Abercrombie & Kent for this tour.
