Day 1 Rome: Arrive at any time. Additional Notes: If you are arriving early and wish to see the Vatican Museums, it’s a good idea to book a ticket to the Vatican online from home. If you try waiting until you arrive it may be too late! Included Activities: Arrival Day and Welcome Meeting

Day 2 Rome/Florence: Explore a different side of Rome on a walking tour led by a migrant guide and see Rome through the eyes of a recent newcomer to Italy. Leave Rome behind and head towards Florence. No city can boast of such artistic richness as this romantic Renaissance city. Food, art, culture, and beautiful views put this outstanding Italian city in a field of its own. The list of things to see and do in Florence and the surrounding Tuscan countryside is unlimited, be it art, nature, architecture, history, or food and drink! Day 3 Florence: Free day in Florence to explore. Opt for a day trip to nearby Siena, or just enjoy all the city has to offer.

Day 4 Florence/Venice: Opt to take a ride in a gondola, visit Piazza San Marco, or discover the magic behind Murano glass. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Transport: Train

Day 5 Venice/Ljubljana: Journey to Ljubljana, Slovenia. Explore the Ljubjanica River lined with outdoor cafes, or opt to take a quick trip to nearby Bled. Transport: Local train Minibus

Day 6 Ljubljana/Vienna: Catch the train to Vienna. Take a short orientation walk around this incredible city. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Transport: Local train

Day 7 Vienna: After tiring yourself out with sightseeing, pop into a café, a Viennese institution. For a slice of local life, the cafés are good places to relax and get your bearings while deciding what to do next. A delicious café experience involves Gugelhupf, one of Vienna’s specialty cakes, and a cup of Melange (half coffee, half milk). Included Activities: Orientation Walk

Day 8 Vienna/Budapest: Orientation walk upon arrival in Budapest, then enjoy a free afternoon to explore. Opt to check out the beautiful Parliament building, stroll along the streets or check out the thermal baths. Opt for an evening out with the group. Day 9 Budapest: Today, new travellers may join you for the rest of the adventure. You are welcome to join them at a group meeting this evening, followed by an optional dinner.

Day 10 Budapest/Krakow: With the Danube River dividing old town, Buda, from the newer area, Pest, there is plenty to see and do. Transport: Overnight train (beds)

Day 11 Krakow: Opt to visit Rynek Glówny - Europe’s largest medieval market square; savour a traditional Polish breakfast (kielbasa, yum), or sit back with a coffee and a slice of Poland's famous cheesecake (sernik babci) at one of the many cafes in the area. Then, walk it off with a stroll uphill to marvel at the impressive Wawel Royal Castle. Included Activities: Orientation Walk

Day 12 Krakow/Prague: Imagine a city lined with Bohemian art, beer halls offering the finest brews in the region, tranquil gardens, and ornate chapels - it's no wonder why visitors fall in love with this place. Take the afternoon and get lost. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Transport: Train

Day 13 Prague: Enjoy all Prague has to offer. Opt to visit the famous Charles Bridge, the clock tower in the main square or a traditional Czech beer hall with serious helpings of meat and potatoes.

Day 14 Prague/Berlin: Berlin is an amazing city with tangible historical importance and a melting pot of different cultures and flavours. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Big Night Out Transport: Train

Day 15 Berlin: Today, new travellers may join you for the rest of the adventure. You are welcome to join them at a group meeting this evening, followed by an optional dinner.

Day 16 Berlin: Take an included bike tour around Berlin. Enjoy free time to explore historic monuments, such as the Berlin Wall, Brandenburg Gate and the Checkpoint Charlie Museum. Experience Berlin's famous nightlife. Included Activities: Bike Tour

Day 17 Berlin/Amsterdam: Hop on a train and cross into the Netherlands. Transport: Train

Day 18 Amsterdam: Head into a cozy bruin café or “eetcafé” (to the Dutch what pubs are to the British and Irish), local spots where friends gather to catch up over a beer or glass of house wine.

Day 19 Amsterdam/Bruges: Jump on a bus from Amsterdam and head into Belgium, for a visit to the small medieval trading town of Bruges. Bruges is one of the best-preserved medieval cities in Europe and has remained practically unchanged since its heyday. Once inside the city walls, the town closes in around you with street after street of historic houses and a canal always nearby. Included Activities: Orientation Walk Transport: Local bus

Day 20 Bruges/London: Hop on a bus to London. Tour ends on arrival. Additional Notes: This tour is expected to end at 6pm upon arrival in London. Please note that suggested arrival times might be impacted by traffic and unforeseen delays. Passengers should plan any onward travel after 10pm on this day. Please speak to a G Adventures representative about booking post-tour accommodation in London. Please note that you may be booked in a multi-share, same sex-dorm room for this night.
