Antoinette from Florence:
"Living in Florence since 2002. I host food and wine walks of the city of Florence, along with my Florentine friends and colleagues, who are tour guides, sommeliers, and culinary professors. We all speak English and Italian and some of us speak Spanish.
This is not a sit-down meal. We meet at a local shop and begin a series of food and wine tastings around Florence. We will visit local markets, shops and culinary artisans who make Florence one of the most spectacular and delightful cities in Italy.
We walk from point to point, tasting, learning, and savoring in each spot. Taste breads, cheeses, salumi, crostini, wine, sweets, balsamic vinegars, olive oils and seasonal specialties that will make your mouth water.
By the end of the 4 hour walk, you will not need lunch, so you will be free to explore, shop, or visit a museum. We also supply you with a handy map of top restaurants and wine bars, so you can continue the fun on your own."
