Take a walking tour of Melbourne this morning, with a motorcoach tour of major landmarks, including Fitzroy Gardens, St. Patrick's Cathedral, the Parliament House, and Olympic Drive. Visit the Shrine of Remembrance, one of Melbourne's most important landmarks, honoring the service and sacrifice of Australians who served in wars and peacekeeping missions; built originally as a memorial to those killed in World War I, the shrine is attended by volunteers in World War I uniforms, and is dedicated to sharing stories about war, peace, sacrifice, and lessons learned. This afternoon, spend free time in Melbourne on your own. The city is famous for its food culture, museums, galleries, and bohemian style, and its inner city is distinctly European, with some narrow streets reminiscent of Paris.

Drive to Dunedin (du-NEE-din) on the Otago Peninsula. The city bears the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, while Otago takes its name from the Maori village, Otakou, which preceded it. On a guided tour of rugged Otago Peninsula, explore its natural wonders including volcanic rock formations and habitats of royal albatross, sea lions, and yellow-eyed penguins. This afternoon, sail into Dusky Sound, once a popular whaling and seal-hunting ground, where humpback whales still frequent the waters, along with bottlenose dolphins and seals. The sound is one of New Zealand's most inspiring natural settings. Dense forests line the shores, and the steep-sided cliffs pour with waterfalls in the rainy season; the islands are havens for birds including petrels, prions, and kakapos. Discover Doubtful Sound, Fjordland's deepest fjord, that wanders for 24 miles inland, lined with intensely green forests and mountains shrouded in mist, which Charles Lyttleton described as "an awesome place, with its granite precipices, hanging valleys, its earthquake faults, and its thundering cascades."

Arrive in Milford Sound, a fjord of breathtaking cliffs, rain forests, black water and alpine peaks at the edge of Fjordland National Park. The Maoris call it Piopiotahi; Rudyard Kipling called it the Eighth Wonder of the World. Explorer James Hingston, who saw it in 1883, marveled at the shoreline mountains that tower thousands of feet and seem as if they "were just carved yesterday by the stupendous wedges of titanic masons." In fact Maori legend says they were carved by a god with a keen-edged adze. Rain-fed waterfalls plunge from great heights; the more striking mountain formations go by names like Mitre Peak, the Lion, or the Elephant. The sound is a marine reserve habitat for fur seals, dolphins, and occasional whales, and a breeding ground for Fjordland Peguins.

New Zealand's capital city is also the nation's cultural heart, nestled in a sheltered harbor ringed by mountains at the southern tip of North Island. The compact metropolis is an energetic hive of government and commerce, theatres, museums, galleries, restaurants, and cafe culture, whose Miramar suburb ("Wellywood") is famous for its film studios; the Lord of the Rings trilogy was made here, as well as other blockbuster films like King Kong and Avatar. Ride a cable car to Mt. Victoria lookout for a stunning, panoramic view of the city and its harbor, then you have a choice of city sightseeing. Visit the Wellington Botanical Gardens and the Museum of New Zealand (Te Papa Tangarewa), an interactive, innovative museum dedicated to the nation's art, science, and natural history, and the history and culture of its indigenous people. Or drive the rugged coast on a "seal safari" to find seal colonies and wildlife you may meet along the way, such as wild goats, horses, deer and ostrich. Or explore the local food scene on a Capital Tastes Tour, sampling artisan flavors and going behind the scenes of some of the city's eateries with a local guide. Or take a walking tour of Matui Island, the site of a Maori fortress, now home to rare birds, reptiles, and penguins. Napier was leveled by an earthquake in 1931 and completely rebuilt within two years, which accounts for its unparalleled wealth of Art Deco architecture. Take a ride around town on the Hawke's Bay Express, a modern road-train built in the style of a vintage steam locomotive from the Art-Deco era. Or bicycle along the Water Trail, a dedicated cycling path following the coast to Taradale, where you can see an historic Maori pa (fortress), enjoy refreshments, and get a transfer back to port. Or visit Horsford Downs, a private home in the country, where Hamish Prins will show you his gardens, orchards, and boutique winery, and entertain you with stories. My family of 5 has taken 2 Tauck trips, and just signed up for a 3rd. I have not used any competitor tour companies, so I can not compare. I have been told that Tauck is a B+ level tour company. But don't let that fool you. I think it rates an A. All details are covered. You pay for the Tour that you choose, get your air tickets, and Tauck takes care of the rest. Even the transfers from the airport to the start location hotel and from the end location hotel to the departure airport (they are often different airports depending upon which Tour you take). I love that once you pay for the trip, even tips and wifi use (for the hotels that offer wifi) are covered. All you need pay for are hotel incidentals. Activities are spaced out nicely. Each day starts a bit early so you can see all that is planned. It is a hustle and bustle itinerary, but worth it if you want to see and explore the area you have chosen. If you want to sit on your butt at a nice resort and be a vacationing vegetable, this is not the tour company for you.

They stay at some of the finest hotels, eat at first rate restaurants (most meals are usually provided) and gain admittance to attractions that other tour operators and individuals are not able to access. Their leaders are highly qualified and very affable, and the tour compositions are well crafted. If you can afford the price, Tauck is clearly the way to go.

Outstanding river cruise with minor disappointments

Having taken 6 ocean cruises with Seabourn over the past 4 years, my wife & I have been spoiled by Seabourn's luxury standards.  We selected Tauck for our first river cruise on the advice of our Virtuoso travel agent - he said Tauck would be the closest to Seabourn's standards.  Our 2-week cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest was outstanding, & Tauck even did a better job than Seabourn in organizing the excellent daily excursions.  All staff members were warm, friendly & helpful.  We had upgraded to the largest cabin (300 sq ft)  to match Seabourn but found the space to be quite a bit less comfortable:  cramped, poorly laid out bathroom; wasted, poorly laid out main living space; poor walk-in closet; inadequate storage everywhere.  More surprising were the meals: generally OK at breakfast & lunch, but almost mediocre at dinner (especially the entrees); wine selections were uninspiring.  Nevertheless, a wonderful experience.

Tour guide Mark C was very knowledgeable and entertaining.  The program was well orchestrated.  Points of interest were well delineated and visiting tour guides were also very knowledgeable.  Accommodations, food and lodging were excellent.  One correction--last night together dinner should have had all the guests seated at the same time rather than calling groups of 6 to 12.  As a result of this uneven seating arrangement, guests were not all served at the same time--some very late and as a result there was a group that was left and not taken to the WWII Memorial.  They had to take a cab to try to catch up to the bus.

The ship was in beautiful condition and the all areas of service were excellent. The only negative was the lack of information on our embarkation location for independent travelers. LOTS of information about airport transfers and Tauck hotel pickup, but none for us. We only were able to get our departure pier information from our hotel concierge. I would not recommend Tauck for this particular trip in that we feel we did not get fair value for our money in that Tauck's position is they give more so you pay more.  We did not find that true on this particular trip, whereas the trip to Italy was worth every penny extra for the special things done in visiting the Sistine Chapel and the Uffizi Museum. This trip we were one (two) among literally thousands of people visiting the sights and therefore could not see them well enough  to appreciate and enjoy.  Our guides were awesome.  But they could do nothing about the crowds.  If Tauck can arrange a private tour of the Sistine Chapel, it would seem they could do something special for all the places in London and Paris which were incredibly crowded on our trip.

I feel Tauck should have provided some kind of service for us. We were not alone. There were a number of us just sitting in the hotel lobby. We had to handle our own luggage and only had access to it if we could find the bell boy. We were not offered anything from the hotel in regards to refreshment. For us, taking our first trip with Tauck, we both agreed the "all inclusiveness" of the trip expenses was perhaps tops on our list, meaning that for us the trip was very relaxing and nearly worry-free. We were able to concentrate each day on new places and new faces. We thoroughly enjoyed the third day when we leisurely cruised along the Rhine River catching sight of all the castles around each bend. The numerous excursions we went on daily took our breath away with everything we saw along the way. I don't think I would take such a long trip covering so many sites again. It was very tiring. We've discovered that we like to stay in one place for 3-4 days so we can get more of a feel for the individual cities. The one criticism I would have of Tauck on this trip is that there was very little time for shopping. It was always part of a bathroom break; 10-30 minutes. Not much, if you want to buy anything beyond a souvenir. Also, I think the Alhambra Palace Hotel should be replaced. The rooms are very out dated. Have the group go for lunch or dinner there instead. We have traveled with a number of other tour providers before but the quality of the hotels, local guides, and food offered by Tauck exceeded anything we had experienced. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in providing alternatives to some of the activities that were too strenuous for us to participate in. The best part was that it was "all-inclusive" which meant we didn't have to worry about optional tours, tipping to local guides or admission to any of the attractions. Wine was included with most meals and the food choices were varied. We will definitely consider traveling with Tauck in the future.

This was our second Tauck tour. The first, from Prague to Budapest, was absolutely fabulous. This trip involved long bus rides and we had only one tour director for 40 people. While this is the only way to see the four places we visited - Grand Canyon, Lake Powell, Brice and Zion - the tour would have benefited from extra guides, perhaps at some of the sites. It would have been a good idea to have a Native American historian on the bus as we drove through Navaho territory. Compared to the European tours, it is relatively inexpensive. So, perhaps that means it was good value. I'd rather pay a little more.

Tauck is a premium (luxury) travel company. In our latest group of 19 couples , only 3 had never travelled with Tauck before. All the others, ourselves included, were repeat customers. That says a lot for the quality of the company. Tauck guests stay at the best hotels, eat at the best restaurants and never have to worry about added expenses, everything is included. The Tauck director is always knowledgeable and available. The local experts brought in provide detailed information about the area's history, and local culture. Their prices seem expensive at first glance, but if you research all the included extras and compare hotels , included meals and liquor , then you'll discover they provide excellent value for the money over mid-range companies.

We had never been on a group tour before and had reservations about not having enough freedom and being stuck with people we might not enjoy. We experienced none of that. Tauck has its act together! We were able to avoid most of the lines to exhibits and museums, etc. and had special treatment in several of them. We were on a fast paced trip but felt like we saw the important sights in each city we visited. And we had plenty of free time to explore. A special highlight was a private tour of the Sistine Chapel. There were three other groups there at the same time but it was a far cry from the "sardine" experience the public has seeing it. And the local guides in each city were very knowledgeable and interesting. The hotels were top notch too. I would definitely recommend Tauck to friends and family.

For the cost of this trip, I expected a unique, one-of-kind Hawaiian experience. Instead, we stayed in four incredibly expensive hotels that were destination locations. We didn't really want a ritzy hotel experience, wanted to experience Hawai'i. There were so many missed opportunities to learn about island history, music, art and culture. Tour director was too "hands off". During the tour, we had three "free days" without much guidance. Had to use hotel concierge services frequently to learn of local events. Pace of tour was too slow and disconnected.

Tauck came to us highly recommended and they did not disappoint. When our transfer from the Amsterdam airport to our hotel (arranged by Tauck) was in a Mercedes sedan, we knew this trip was going to be top notch. We can't say enough about the stateroom. As veterans of numberous ocean cruises, this stateroom was by far the best we've ever had. The itinerary was packed with great sightseeing options (almost too busy), and as non morning people, a few too many 8:30am departures for our taste. The tour directors were all excellent, the food awesome, and the all inclusive format was a pleasant change. They treated us like adults, meaning they gave us choices of exclusions, including ventureing out on our own. Just be back before the boat leaves. Parting notes: Loved the VOX system on tours that allowed me to hear the guide even 50 feet away. The partnership they have with the cruise line, Ponant needs to be rethought. While the cabins were clean and well appointed with friendly and hard working stewards, the dining room was a huge disappointment. The food was uninspired and the service not up to Tauck standards. When I ordered something that was not a featured item but available on the menu, it was served after the rest of the table had finished eating. On top of that, what is appealing about a piece of fish on a white plate with not even a parsley sprig? Rumor has it that Tauck is considering partnering with Seabourn. Hotel & Dining at Four Seasons was big disappointment (Vancouver) and should have been handled better by Tauck and hotel. Room not cleaned at 2:00 pm after return from morning tour and we were to leave at 4:30 for evening dining. We were seated in the "bar" for our fine dining experience. When one of our party asked for beef filet (not on the menu) he was told that due to other activities at the hotel they were real busy and could not handle his request. This most recent cruise was on the Danube, and we had several opportunities to talk to travelers on other companies' ships on this massively popular route. None of them had anything like the "Tauck exclusive" evenings (a dinner in a Vienna palace comes to mind), most had many more passengers onboard, and at least one had much larger land tour groups than we had. Tauck's ships are comfortable, their cruise directors are terrific, and their local tour guides are some of the best we have seen. We also really like their all-inclusive pricing, which lets us travel without worrying about additional costs. Can't really imagine river cruising with anyone else at this point.

One suggestion: You might mention not to check out until you are through with your room. We've traveled a lot and never had our key changed at 7:00 AM. We couldn't get back in our room after breakfast to get our carry-on and were delayed by having to find someone to let us in. The hotel restaurants in Glacier Nat. Park were wonderful. At the Fairmonts we were given time slots to eat. For example, 6 people at 7pm, 8 people at 7:30. Your time slot assigned had to do with where you were sitting on the bus. The back of the bus got the leftover slots and leftover hotel restaurants. Having 2 different river cruises with 2 different groups did not lend well to what Tauck strives for with a family atmosphere with people making life long friends as is tauted. Those of us who were doing the whole cruise did not get to bond with the second half of the trip. I would have liked more choices in Paris and London for the sightseeing. This tour was well organized and we had a superb guide/director who kept us on schedule with our itinerary which included a few appreciated blocks of free time to do our own thing. The local tour vendors chosen by Tauck are top notch and this includes coach drivers as well as the crew of our chartered flights. Things we would change if we could: On days with special lunches, dinners of that evening could be much lighter; there was just too much to eat in one day. One of our hotels, nice as it was as a whole, had window curtains in our room that were in need of updating and furniture that had a few threadbare corners. This was our second tour with Tauck and they once again delivered a simply superb experience from beginning to end. Our tour director was fun, informed and gently persuasive in guiding us seamlessly through a busy, but fun filled itinerary. Every attention to detail taken care of. Accommodations were first class all the way...five star from Cape Town through the "bush" lodges to Jo-Berg's boutique hotel and on to a colonial era classic at Victoria Falls. Was pleasantly surprised with the variety and quality of the food and wine offered. Safari experience was rangers and trackers with up close encounters with the wildlife. Celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary, our tour director arranged for a lovely acknowledgement of our occasion at the Lion Sands Lodge near Kruger National Park...the capstone of a trip of a lifetime. If you want a tour done right, Tauck is the one to choose.

We have traveled 7-8 times with Tauck and can't wait to travel with them again. Marcos Soto was our Tour Director for our Patagonia trip 3/9-19 - The best of the best in our opinion. He had weather issues to deal with and he was "on it"....often making a few changes in where we went first and it worked out....with the weather at it's best. It truly was an adventure. He was fun and ever so knowledgable. When he told you about Patagonia - it was because he too loved being there...and you could feel it. He was always available to take helpful....We will always remember his words - "when you are walking....look down! When you wish to take a picture - stop". He had such a variety of people and ages....and we all came back in one piece. Hope to travel with him again and again....Absolutely GREAT Tour Director as were all of the local Guides. This is the most ambitious tour and is more an expedition adventure than a vacation. It is a more complex tour than most of Tauck offerings with five flights and one week long cruise involved within the trip itself. The trip tour guide was incredibly helpful, well informed and knowledgeable. The travel arrangements within the tour were flawless. And the local guides at each stop in Peru and Ecuador were the finest. Tauck will always be our first choice in the future.

The only advice I would suggest is to do your homework BEFORE you leave home as to what you want to do in your free time--of which there is quite a bit. These two tours were our sixth and seventh with Tauck, and we experienced the same wonderful level of organization and guides that we have come to expect. Tauck takes the work out of travelling and takes care of everything - transfers, luggage, tips, special events like our private viewing of the Sistine Chapel in Rome, and everything in between including most of our food. The Classic Italy trip showed us the opulence and crowded highlights of Italy. Scandinavia showed us the austerity, practicality and spaciousness of Denmark, Sweden, and Norway. We went from sumptuous delicious meals in Italy to plain, straightforward food in Norway, from walking five to seven miles a day to three to five miles a day, and busses and boats to busses, boats, trains, and planes, all with plenty of stops to see everything along the way. My biggest juxtaposition of opposites was seeing the gilded churches in Rome, Florence. and Venice and then going to a 1000-year-old stave church in Norway.

We felt she was much more concerned about her time than ours. She was knowledgeable about Ireland, supplied us with a lot of very good information about Ireland and its rich history, still we felt that she basically did the minimum required of a Director. Frankly, we had too much free time. Would liked to have seen more sites like the Blarney Stone. Our Director last year in France (Jacqueline Bucchi) was an "A+" Director. The Tauck operators & bus driver ,tour guide Jim Sunby were terrific ! Great insight into wherever we were, knowledgeable , on the history , topography , the geology of the Grand Tetons & Yellowstone . He would be the reason we would ever use Tauck again. Insightful ,funny & very easily relatable. Knew the small details of where to go & when to avoid the crowds , and where the best coffee & pie stops on our over 1000 mile trip in 7 days . Great asset to Tauck ! Now that being said , and greatly disappointed in the accommodations based upon the lack of value at price charged. The accommodations in the National Park areunderstandably pedestrian , but the I did not expect a cabin that could have been out of the 50's at the Jackson Lake Lodge ! Especially since Tauck wanted to charge me over $300 more for the 2 extra nights pre-tour above and beyond the published rates. The food was best described as a commissary at any public institution anywhere. The Ucross Ranch was great though .

The national parks and monuments were very special. The trip outside of the parks was sub standard. Days were spent with what my husband and I considered "filler". More days should have been spent in Yellowstone. Cody, Wyoming Holiday in was in terrible condition. The restaurant for dinner was below our standard for decent dining. The lunch at the T-A ranch was almost non edible. The food must have been sitting out for a long time to be that dried out. When we arrived we paid extra to be picked up at the airport. No one from the company had our name and it took many phone calls to get that straightened out.

Tauck is an excellent company. I was on a European river cruise with the company. EVERYTHING is included on a river cruise and even if the tour is going to be in a town for the day instead of returning to the ship, we were given money to purchase lunch on our own! The cruise director and her tour directors were very knowledgeable and helpful. The tours were well orchestrated and they always kept track of all the people to make sure no one was left behind. In most of the towns we had time after the walking tours to walk or shop on our own. My room steward was awesome and very friendly and when I mentioned that I prefer dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate for my evening treats, she started giving me dark chocolate!! The stewards in the lounges and dining room learn your preferences if you have the same things all the time. Food was excellent with good options and you can order whatever you want or mix and match food items.

We have traveled with Tauck previously, so felt we knew the ins-and-outs. This trip included two back-to-back tours with friends. The Tour Directors were excellent, even exceptional, in both cases. Local guides were also excellently exceptional. The bus drivers also excellent. Hotels were of high quality and service at hotels usually top-notch. Ashford Castle was a real plus but understand Tauck is considering eliminating that stay which would be a disappointment. There are several issues that were unclear when looking at the specifics of the Irish trip in that we spent too much time on the bus driving from place to place. Kinsale, a wonderful location, which we knew from a previous trip, wasn't included, yet visits to Waterford and Belleek were. Personally could have done without those stops but others enjoyed. We would have preferred a choice. Wish Tauck would limit the numbers as there were almost 40 on the Irish part. Lovely people but thirty would have been more pleasant.

Some of the tour guides had difficulty with English. Another difficulty is that you can be turned loose for your free time when you are at some distance from the hotel and do not have a good sense of how to get back. I am picking at nits here. I cannot say enough about Tauck. It was "top shelf" everything. The customer service was outstanding. The food, drinks, and accommodations were tops. The cruise directors and the guides were fantastic. We enjoyed them all. The Esprit staff were also amazing and we so courteous and accommodating. The only thing that I would recommend is to have some pharmaceutical "over the counter" medications in the ship "shop". Sundries like Advil, Aleve, Tylenol, Mucinex, Nyquil, etc. would have been very helpful. Everyone on the ship was sick at one time or another and had to go to shore to purchase unfamiliar products with foreign currency. It would be very nice if there were American over-the-counter goods and if travelers could sign a waiver so that the ship/crew/Tauck are not held liable. This would have made an enormous improvement on this long cruise for everyone involved.

I give this company a 5 star review! This Tauck trip was experienced on a Le Ponant Small Cruise Ship. Our trip was only with Tauck travelers - this is very nice! The ship, Le Laperouse, was their newest small cruise ship - excellent way to experience Iceland. The Captain, his first ship that he was in command, was very pleasant. All the Tauck Tour leaders were very knowledgeable about Iceland! Having a choice of excursions was also very much enjoyed.

Our tour director was excellent. She kept us on schedule and adapted so well to anything that arose. She was knowledgeable, friendly and accessible. She knew when to be present and when to let us have our space to explore. There was something for everyone on the tour which helped to keep us engaged. The driver did a superb job in navigating the coach in tight areas and accommodating all our luggage. Tauck did disclose that the coach had limited overhead storage area, which was totally understandable. You want as much window viewing area as possible. The leg space on the coach, however, was very tight for my 6'5' husband. While it didn't matter for shorter jaunts, longer times on the coach were uncomfortable for him as his knees were shoved into the seat in front of him which caused him to also take-up more of my seat beside him. I hate to see motor coaches go the same way as the airlines. We did upgrade our airline seats before we left to avoid this situation.

If I had planned this trip myself, I never would have known of these out of the way places, in addition to other regular tourist stops. However, I can say that they handled the cancellation of the trip in a very professional manner. We were given options when the trip was canceled, including a complete refund of your total payment for the trip. We decided take the refund, and tour the cities via land. During our trip, we met many people that were still staying on their river boats, because their cruise line refused to cancel the trip. They were very disappointed in their trip and the cruise line that just refused to cancel the trip. I would definitely book a trip with Tauck again, given their level of customer service. By: None

Our Tauck Tour Operator was good, not excellent. He did not offer too much in the way of extra sites we could visit while staying for a while at each location. One very annoying thing that occurred was when we were at our last destination at the end of our tour, our carry on luggage was accidentally left behind in the bus's baggage compartment. After much searching they found that this carry on was never removed from the baggage compartment and that the driver was half way to Phoenix and therefore we would not be able to have our luggage that night. Our tour director promised that the luggage would be overnighted to our home the next day. We never received the luggage until 4 days later without even an apology for the long wait. We had to keep in contact with our travel agent to see if the luggage was ever going to be shipped. It seemed like hit-and-miss if the carry on would every be shipped. This was very poor customer service indeed and it put a damper on a great vacation.

I think Tauck does an excellent job of selecting a variety of activities and I especially enjoyed the sheepdog demonstration on my most recent trip. If I had any negative comments from my most recent experience it would be in the quality of our trip director. I felt that she was consistently excessively loud and rather annoying in the way that she talked to us much like a group of schoolchildren going on a field trip each day. However she has been employed by Tauck for decades so apparently this type of behavior is rewarded. They utilize fine hotels and the meals are mostly great. Our only disappointment was with some of the hotel’s so called handicap rooms. My husband required a walk in shower which we got, but some didn’t even have a grab bar. When I asked, they sent a wobbly shower chair. (Grand Hotel)! Also the handicap rooms were never as nice as the regular rooms especially the Marriott “basement room” This is not the fault of Tauck, but they should inform the hotels they use to do better with those rooms, as many of the Tauck travelers are “Seniors” & require the safety features. However, the trip was very nice, good bus driver , activities venues and caring, knowledgeable guide.

My experience with Tauck was a bit different this time around. I’m used to river boat cruises where there is a cruise director on board, along with two fabulous tour guides. This time we had two Tauck guides on Le Ponant with no Tauck cruise director. This created a different dynamic. Our guides are very accustomed to the Le Ponant boat. Most of the travelers were not. The boat’s accommodations are uncomfortably tiny. The ship itself is old and much in need of remodeling. While I look forward to future river cruises with Tauck, I wouldn’t sail on Le Ponant again. As usual, Tauck had lots of interesting daily excursions planned. Keeping us busy was the rule of the day. Unfortunately, at the end of the trip, we encountered a hurricane that prevented our tour of Malta. Tauck made every effort to get us from Siracusa to Malta. That was an extremely long day, but we missed touring the beautiful and fascinating cities of Valletta and Medina.

We have traveled many different ways - independent travel completely on our own, in small groups, with a number of tour companies, and by land, sea and air. In my opinion, Tauck is absolutely the best company to travel with in any form. Every aspect of your trip is taken care of, and they don't even allow a problem to occur. Example - when we arrived in Calgary, the limo driver did not have us on his list. He took us to the hotel anyway, and along the way gave me his phone to call Tauck. Even though it was Saturday, the Tauck rep looked up the info, made the change, and told the driver that it was all taken care of. One phone call and the issue was completely resolved. On the trip itself, we stayed in the best rooms (always the ones with the killer views), ate the best food, and had the best guides and experiences. Dining was usually not in a group, but we were able to select items off the menu just like any other patron. I highly recommend Tauck.
