Description

Climb into your luxury SUV to begin this fun, fabulous tour. We'll drive along the Eyjafjörður coastline, boasting breathtaking views and seaside surroundings.

Next stop is the old herring factory in Hjalteyri where you'll hear about this small fish's big impact on the economy and the town during its heyday.

It's time to get out, stretch your legs and breathe in the fresh ocean air along the black sand beach and old-style harbor in Dalvik Village.

You might not expect to stop at a filming location for an Icelandic TV drama, but then again, you didn't come to Iceland to do the same old thing. We'll visit the village of Siglujörður, where the very popular crime series "Trapped" is set and hear a bit more about the herring years in the country.

The next stop is the Kaldi Brewery, one of Iceland's most celebrated micro-breweries. You'll enjoy a fully guided brewery tour, by a personable and energetic staff who are proud of their product.

Then, the moment you've been waiting for...to the beer bath! You'll soak, revel, relax and smile as you slide into the big tub filled with beer, yeast, water and hops. You don't want to drink the beer in the tub, but rest assured you will not go thirsty as you will be provided with samples of the fine brews produced by Kaldi, along with descriptions of each. After 25 minutes of soaking in sudsy goodness, we suggest a stop at the outdoor hot tub to relax and take in the stunning views.

Once you've been transformed by your beer bath experience, lunch is in order. The restaurant, located right on the brewery property offers a choice of a beer (of course) burger or fish of the day.

A short drive away is Akureyri, where you will have free time to explore the street life before ending your day.

In Cozumel we enjoyed the snorkeling that we did off a catamaran. The staff was friendly, very professional, and helpful with my first time snorkeling daughter. Grand Cayman we went to sting ray city with a trip and snorkeling. Staff and trip was amazing, crew very helpful and fun. in Jamaica we did a Dunn's River Falls excursion and private beach. We had fun but were not impressed with the staff, and their timeliness (waited around alot),

We did a private whale watching tour which was incredible. The train ride in Sitka which we were not going to do at first was spectacular. Scenery, comfort - a wonderful way to see the area and spend our time. We signed up for a Mendenhall Glacier trip plus Salmon bake. This one was so very commercial and although the glacier and waterfall were above our expectations, a short time was given to walk there and view. This left out two of our party as they could not move as fast as needed to return in the time frame of one hour. Then the BAKE- the food was marginally ok. They were out of the most important SMORES ingredients. It is crazy but that was advertised (we were willing to break our diets ) and we looked forward to them and then disappointed. The people were nice. the area was pretty but that one I would strongly advise friend not to sign up for.

Great experience. The tours of the Louvre, and Notrre Dame were great. The guide even helped me try to get Eiffel tower admission tickets switched after I had booked them on the wrong date.
