We'll stop at Neuville, founded in 1684. Here you'll find a marina for pleasure craft and various historic buildings. We'll enjoy a guided tour of Domaine des 3 Moulin Winery and their archaeologically significant property as well as sample some of the fine vintages produced here.
A little farther on, Cap-Santé, whose name means "Cape Health" is known for the white wooden L'Eglise Saint Famille Church.
Deschambault-Grondines is home to the oldest windmill in Quebec. Built in 1674, it served for many years providing power to a flour mill before being converted to a lighthouse. This agricultural area offers many shops showcasing the region's products. We'll visit Fromagerie des Gondines to learn a little about the cheese making process and sample their delicious organic raw milk cheeses.
There will be time to stop and explore these areas as well as enjoy a lovely lunch at one of the local bistros in the area.
