This morning after breakfast, head out onto the vast Lake Victoria by motorboat and explore the lakeside right up to the great Grumeti delta • The boat tour lasts the entire morning (approx. 4 hours) and gives a fascinating insight into life on the lake • Head back to camp for lunch and spend the afternoon out in the canoes or on a guided bird walk before dinner.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Bush Rover Migration Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

Leave the camp after breakfast and head into Serengeti national park for a game drive, finishing at your fantastic Bush Rover migration camp • The best time to get right in the middle of the wildebeest migration is beginning of June through mid-November • We follow the migration through the western corridor along the Grumeti river and the northern Serengeti along the Mara river where we have superb viewing sites close to wildebeest crossing points but far away from the crowds • The Bush Rover nights are all about the great wildebeest migration and this is definitely the way to see it, right in its heart but not shared with anybody else.

Spend the day exploring the area on game drives experiencing the famous wildebeest migration close-up • Nothing compares to being right in the heart of this amazing wildlife phenomenon • And where the migrating herds are, the predators are never far behind • When not out on a game drive, you can kick back atop your Bush Rover suite’s elevated balcony and survey the scene from a superb vantage point.
