Day 2 Yerevan/Echmiadzin: Drive to Echmiadzin to visit its famous cathedral. Later, enjoy a city tour of Yerevan, followed by a visit to the Genocide Memorial. Day 3 Yerevan/Khor Virap/Garni: During your free time in Yerevan opt to visit the Yerevan Brandy Factory or Megerian Carpet factory for some insight into staples of Armenian culture. Included Activities: Khor Virap Visit Garni Temple and Gorge Visit Local Lunch and Traditional Cooking Demonstration

Day 4 Yerevan/Haghpat: The Molokan are a minority population in Armenia derived from settlers exiled from Russia for not obeying the rules of the Church. Their name derives from "Milk" due to the great amount of milk they would consume, especially during the fasting period determined by the Orthodox Clergy. Stop in a Molokan village en route to Haghpat to get a glimpse into daily life, and enjoy a traditional meal. Day 5 Haghpat/Tbilisi: Visit Haghpat Monestary and UNESCO-listed monastic complex of Sanahin. Cross into Georgia before arriving in Tbilisi in time for a guided tour of the city. Visit the Old Town, Metekhi Temple, the Abanotubani 'bath district' and the Narikala, the main fortress in Tbilisi. Tblisi/Kakheti Province

Day 6 Tblisi/Kakheti Province: Spend the day driving through the scenic wine region of Kakheti. The green vineyards stretch as far as the eye can see, and provide grapes for the production of about 500 different wines in Georgia. Tour the Alexandre Chavchavadze family manor to catch a glimpse of 18th century life of a noble before a stop in the charming town of Sighanagi. Included Activities: Local Lunch and Wine Tasting

Day 7 Tblisi/Uplistsikhe: Drive the famous Georgian Military Road to Mtskheta, ancient capital of Georgia and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral. Continue to Uplistsikhe cave town and on through the dramatic Aragvi River Valley. Return to Tbilisi in the evening. Included Activities: Mtskheta Visit Uplistsikhe Visit Transport: Private Vehicle Private Vehicle
