Depart from Washington Dulles on board your Ethiopian Airlines flight to Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Day 2

When you arrive in Addis Ababa, connect to your onward flight to Arusha, Tanzania. With a warm welcome upon your arrival, you’ll be transferred to your delightful accommodations in Arusha, northern Tanzania's safari capital, where you will spend the night under the star-studded African sky.
Day 3
Arusha, Tanzania
Tarangire Sopa Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart after breakfast and travel overland to Tarangire, one of Tanzania's largest national parks. Arrive in time for lunch. This afternoon join your expert safari ranger for an afternoon game viewing activity. The grassy acacia woodlands and gigantic baobabs make for spectacular vistas. Tarangire National Park supports a great diversity of wildlife - up to 6,000 elephants, giraffe, buffalo, lesser kudu, zebra, lion, leopard and cheetah.
Day 4
Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Lake Manyara Serena Safari Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara Serena Lodge, arrive in time for lunch. This afternoon, enjoy a game drive in the beautiful Lake Manyara National Park. This small but uniquely diverse national park is a wonderful introduction to Tanzania’s birdlife.

Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Continue your journey to explore the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro Crater, home to one of the densest concentrations of game in Africa. You will spend the next two nights at a lodge set on the rim of the crater.
Day 6
Ngorongoro, Tanzania
Ngorongoro Serena Safari Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Descend some 2,000 feet through the early morning mists, to explore the crater floor of this extinct, collapsed volcano. You'll be in awe of the profusion of wildlife concentrated here. Zoom in on the elephants ambling along well-worn tracks. Listen for the roaring lion guarding its large pride. Watch gazelle quietly graze surrounded by zebra and wildebeest, and you might spot the endangered rhino feeding down by the lake. Enjoy a picnic lunch before returning to your camp. Share the day’s magical moments with your safari companions as the sun sinks over the horizon.
Day 7
Ngorongoro, Tanzania
Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
After breakfast, drive to the great Serengeti - "endless plains" in the Maasai language. While the exact timing is difficult to predict, more than two million wildebeest, half a million Thomson's gazelles and a quarter million zebras gather here for annual migrations, attracting large predators such as lion, leopard, cheetah and hyena. Arrive in time for lunch. In the afternoon, join your expert safari ranger for an afternoon game viewing drive.
Day 8
Serengeti, Tanzania
Serengeti Serena Safari Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner
Depart during the early morning splendor of an African sunrise for your first game drive of the day. Negotiating roads and tracks, your expert ranger transports you to a world of primal savagery combined with peaceful vistas. Collect a gallery of thrilling images as the morning unfolds: a lioness relaxing after her morning hunt; alert elephants carefully guarding their young as they traverse the bush; a startled warthog running with its tail erect; ungainly herds of wildebeest grazing alongside zebra. Relax at the lodge until the day cools down and the animals become more active before setting out for your afternoon game drive. Before retiring, stretch out and listen to the sounds of the wilderness and watch the illumination of the infinite African sky.

I could have have even imagined the experience that awaited us. The first night on a game drive we experienced watching lions eating a kill, so close you could smell the animals. All other animal siteings were equally as exciting. The lodging were excellent, service was first class and the people were wonderful. Cannot wait to go again. Post Haste Travel & African Travel did a fantastic job.!!!

Our African Travel experience was fantastic. We didn't know what to expect, but having said that, our African experience was far and away more than we could have dreamed. The game drives and safari hotels were all great. WE couldn't have planned this trip alone, so the African Travel Inc. portion was vital to our having a great time, which we certainly did.

This was the first time that we have used Africa Adventure Company. Their recommendations for trip itinerary and accommodations were spot-on. African Answers .was very easy to work with and ALWAYS available for questions. My contact at Africa Answers was Rowan and he did a great job; I was taken care of from the minute I stepped off the plane until I left the country. A person was assigned to me in both countries I visited. People who listened, were on time or early for pickups and very knowledgable about every portion of the area I was vacationing in. My last day in country I was not feeling well, so on the fly I asked to drop something that had been planned for me to do and instead just find a place to rest. The guys that Africa Answers was working with took care of everything. Book with these guys.

African Travel was great! Other than a small hiccup with a hotel in Capetown (which they remedied), the trip was awesome. The drivers and tour guides that they hire were all super friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. The businesses they chose for Shark Diving, Cape of Good Hope, and the Thorny Bush Reserve were excellent places. My wife and I would definitely recommend African Travel to friends and family! Cheers!
