Upon arrival at Ngurah Rai International Airport, after you have picked up your luggage, please exit and look for the sign “EXIT” on your right at the arrival hall and follow the walk path, after a short walk, here you will find your guide waiting for you holding the Trails of Indochina signboard with your name on it.

Your guide will transfer you to your hotel. The rest of the day is for you to relax after your flight.

Day 2

The rich cultural heritage of Indonesia’s art and handicrafts is one of its true national treasures. Bali in particular is known for having a vibrant artistic community. Spend the day exploring Bali’s artistic side: visiting the craft village of Singapadu where you can observe artisans creating unique handicrafts varying from wooden masks used in Balinese traditional dances to gold and silver wares; learning about woodworking at the wood carving village of Mas where you can sit with a local artisan to learn basic woodcarving skills. Put your skills into practice by drawing a pattern on cardboard and carving it out of bath soap; and participating in a hands-on cooking class and enjoying the fruits of your labour for lunch. Return to your hotel in the afternoon.

Mount Batur is considered one of the most dramatic and accessible live volcanoes on earth. At 1,717m (5,633ft) above sea level, Mount Batur is Bali’s second most sacred mountain after Mount Agung. Spend an enjoyable half day taking in scenic views from this sacred mountain, starting with a drive to Penelokan Village in Kintamani for a Balinese coffee. Drive to the starting point of the trek and hike 5hrs to the crest for awesome sunset views. Celebrate with bottle of champagne as evening rolls in. After a simple dinner, hike down along the same path and transfer back to your hotel.

Day 4

This morning, we take you to the peaceful Abangan village located 30-minutes away from Ubud. Abangan is known for its huge rice paddies, tropical rain forest, and Balinese artist village. Trudge through rice paddies to learn how rice is grown, cultivated and harvested from farmers who will invite you to join in the harvesting. After a labor filled morning, visit local artist’s workshops where you can join and practice wood carving or painting. The trek ends at Sebatu Temple where a Balinese Hindu Priest is waiting to begin a blessing purification ceremony by presenting traditional offerings on the shrine located in the holy water. After, the Priest will lead you to take a bath in the holy spring water plunge pool. Balinese believe that the holy water will be able to purify your body and soul. The peaceful morning will come to a conclusion in Traditional Balinese Resort of Puri Sebatu where you will have an energising lunch.

After lunch, a visit to Puri Pandawa, which is located in Basangambu village. It offers a wide variety of cultural programs like palm reading, opening chakras, traditional Balinese massage, balance aura with crystal, tarot, and Balinese mandala work. In each program includes free meditation in the pyramid and free visit to a holy circle.

We can also make an appointment with the healer based on your interest. After the consultation and treatment, we take you back the hotel.

Day 5

Bali’s breathtakingly diverse landscapes of soaring mountains, green rice terraces and lush forests make for an excellent backdrop for a full day of cycling. Morning 1.5hr drive to the village of Carang Sari in the island’s interior. Over morning tea in the tranquil surroundings, listen as the cycling guides provide a safety briefing, describing the route and demonstrating how to use the bike’s gears and brakes.

Set off on a 2hr, 17km (11mi) cycling adventure, highlighted by: scenes of pristine rice terraces and villages dotted with traditional houses and temples; stops to meet friendly locals, take photos of scenic spots and learn about the local culture; and a visit to the monkey forest of Sangeh. At the finish point, vehicles will be standing by to take you to a local restaurant for an Indonesian buffet lunch. Afterwards, return to your hotel.

Day 6

Visit some of its most notable temples and gardens on a full-day tour, including: Taman Ayun, the Royal Temple of the Mengwi kingdom. Built in 1634, Bali’s most sacred temple is surrounded by a wide moat creating the sensation of standing in the middle of the lake; Bedugul, a pleasant mountain village on Lake Bratan, to visit its botanical gardens and fresh market which showcases Bali’s freshest vegetables thanks to Bedugul’ shigher altitude and cooler weather; Ulundanu Water Temple located on the shores of Lake Brandan dedicated to the Balinese water, lake and river goddess Dewi Danu; and Tanah Lot, Bali’s most photographed temple, perched on a little rocky islet inaccessible during high tides.

After the tour, your guide will transfer you to the hotel in Jimbaran. The rest of the day is at your leisure.

Enjoy the day at your leisure.

Experience an epic Balinese sunset and dinner on this evening excursion. Drive 45mins to the beautiful highlands of Uluwatu in the south of Bali and see the holy temple of Pura Uluwatu, an exquisite monument perched 70m (230ft) above the sea and situated on a headland at the westernmost tip of the peninsula. Watch an epic Balinese Kecak dance performance telling the love story of Rama and Sita with the stunning sunset as the backdrop. End the day with a hearty grilled fresh seafood dinner on the beach of Jimbaran.

Day 8

Spend a full day on the island paradise of Lembongan. Depart in the morning for a relaxing 120 minutes cruise to Lembongan Island aboard the Aristocat, one of Bali’s most luxurious catamarans. Cruise to Hai Tide Beach Resort in Mushroom Bay, an array of water sports activities, including banana boat rides, pool volley ball, snorkeling and semi-submersible coral viewer are available for Aristocal Guest, A delicious BBQ lunch is served on the beach. Sail back in the late afternoon and witness a beautiful sunset before arriving at Benoa Harbor where a private transfer back to your hotel awaits.
