"I'm a fishmonger and home cook specializing in local seafood cuisine. Working as a fishmonger at the Santa Cruz Harbor and Bay Area Farmers Markets ignited my passion for working with fresh, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. I pull my inspiration from regional seafood dishes including bright and spicy Baja Fish tacos, warm clam chowders and delicate sushi. I have an extensive knowledge of locally harvested seafood and sustainable fishing practices. The ingredients within each dish come from a diverse community of sustainable fisherman, farmers, and artisan food purveyors. I am a person of the sea. Surfing and fishing California waters my entire life has forged my respect for ocean wildlife and strictly guides my decisions about what seafood is sensible to put on your plate.

I work hard to ensure the seafood species I serve is bountiful and capable of replenishing and the methods used to catch or harvest the seafood respects our ocean ecosystem. I would love to address any seafood questions and concerns you have about what it means to be a sustainable seafood provider and consumer. You’ll leave my dinner guilt free and full bellied with only the best hand selected seafood.

A menu consisting of the freshest, local, sustainable, traceable, catches hand selected by me. The menu will vary depending on what comes in. This dinner will always start with oysters. This dinner is BYOB (bring your own beverage) or you can order drinks at the dining room bar. There is a $10 corkage fee for wines brought I recommend Sauvignon Blancs, Chardonnays, Pinot Grigios, Pinot Noirs, and light beers to pair with this meal. Please make sure to note your dietary restrictions when checking out!"

When your host confirms your booking, you'll automatically receive all the details you need, like his/her address and contact details. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • Cancellations at least 24 hours before the event qualify for a total refund
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of an event are not eligible for a refund

If your host encounters a problem or is unable to prepare the meal, you will be refunded. Or, if you prefer, we'll do our best to find you an alternative host.

My family LOVED our experience with eatwith Athens. The apartment with the view of the Acropolis and amazing homemade meal prepared by Dimitris and Savvas was a highlight of our trip.
