Sustainability

Sustainability has always been the foundation of a ME to WE travel experience.

Virtuoso's three pillars of sustainability - care for the environment, preservation of local communities & culture and ensuring economic benefit for local communities - are woven into the very fabric of each ME to WE itinerary.

ME to WE's charity partner, WE Charity, has developed a five pillar model of international development that is based around helping rural communities in developing countries ensure safe and sustainable access to -

  • Quality sources of education
  • Clean sources of water

Trip of a lifetime

Me to We was recommended to my husband and I as a way to see another part of the world and also be able to give back. We went to the conference in Seattle last spring with our travel agent, Pam Anderson and we were moved by their story. The trip did not disappoint. Me to We accommodations were impeccable, the food exceeded expectations, the adventures and experiences were fun and educational. I would recommend these trips to anyone wanting to make a difference and have fun.

Highly enjoyed every aspect of this travel experience. All of the staff was friendly and professional. The two main tour guides, Favio and Sandra, are two examples of people this planet needs more of. The accommodations, travel, food, activities, talks, and hikes were top notch. Can't say enough good things about this entire experience.

Fabio, Sandra and Bianca were wonderful guides and people. I was looking forward to helping more in the actual community, and wish we had had more than one afternoon to do that. The rooms were clean and very nice, food prepared by Sebastian was delicious. I appreciated that they accommodated me when I had to plan my trip to get back a day earlier than everyone else, and Bianca was awesome in Quito, and took me to to a delicious and fun restaurant.
