The breath-taking Twelve Apostles are a must for any Australian Adventure. A day spent journeying down the Great Ocean Road is the perfect chance to get back to nature. See kangaroos and koalas in the wild, feed rainbow lorikeets and king parrots and stroll through charming coastal towns.

Be met at your hotel by your well-informed and connected local guide for an 8:00am start. The drive out from Melbourne is a great chance to share some of your tastes and interests so these can be made a feature of your uniquely tailored experience.

Sit back and get to know your guide in one of our luxury touring vehicles as you enjoy premium Australian treats, including local chocolate, natural spring water and premium skin care products.

Stop by an aboriginal cultural centre (closed Sundays) for morning tea with a few native flavours you probably didn’t know existed. Here some didgeridoo, scout for wildlife or learn to throw a boomerang. Enjoy art from around the country in their amazing commercial gallery.

Admire some world class surfing at Australia’s surfing heartland, Torquay, the home of the Rip Curl Pro Bells Beach.

Be consumed by the scents and sounds of the wild in native eucalyptus forests. Learn about the 700 different kinds of gum tree, which thrive in Australia, and the difference between kangaroos and wallabies, about carnivorous snails and early explorers. Like all road trips, this is a wonderful chance to share a few stories.

Enjoy a two-course lunch with matching wines at one of our favourite seaside restaurants in Apollo Bay.

Feed wild parrots, spot koalas high in the treetops and search out a mob of local kangaroos. Walk the boardwalks at the Twelve Apostles while your guide regales you with the stories that lent the Shipwreck Coast its perilous title.

Take flight by helicopter for a breathtaking view of this unique natural wonder, it’s a memory that will last a lifetime.

Break up the journey home with a stop for afternoon tea and a few uniquely Australian treats.

Return to Melbourne by 7:00pm.

Compared it to travel agent's booking and caught the discrepancy. Would have missed plane back to the states !
