Description

Your private guide will meet you at your Sydney accommodation at approximately 09:30 am to begin your full day Sydney experience. Your day will start with a half day seeing Sydney from the water, whilst the second half of the way will showcase the best Sydney has to offer by road. All done in privacy and luxury and away from the tourist traps.

Your guide will depart your accommodation and will drive approximately 20 minutes to the marina where you will board the luxurious motor 48’ cruiser, “Iluka”. This beautiful boat is Sydney’s newest commercial vessel.

Following a short on-board briefing you will commence your 3-hour cruise, taking in some of Sydney’s most iconic landmarks. You will cruise within meters of the Sydney Opera house with views reaching back to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and up the harbour to the Eastern Suburbs. Next you will make your way east past Woolloomooloo, Garden Island, Double Bay, Vaucluse, Rose Bay and up to historic Watsons Bay. You will then cross the harbour and head across to Chowder Bay and on to Taronga Zoo where you will stop for lunch.

Lunch will include an assortment of fresh local seafoods, delicious salads and some BBQ treats accompanied with a selection of local beers and wine. Your hosts will conclude the meal with a homemade dessert. On conclusion of your lunch, you will head back to the marina to begin the land portion of your tour.

The journey by road starts by heading east, taking the coastal drive to Watson’s Bay via some of Sydney’s most affluent suburbs. As your guide winds through the streets of Sydney’s exclusive Eastern Suburbs, you will have the chance to visit some beautiful harbourside beaches and bays: and stop at Vaucluse House to see an example of Sydney’s colonial architecture and the pretty gardens of former governors.

There will also be a stop at Watsons Bay where you will visit the ocean side of South Head called “The Gap”, close to the entrance to Sydney Harbour. There are dramatic cliff views from this location and amazing views back to the city.

On your departure from Watsons Bay your guide will make the drive over to one of Australia’s most famous beaches, Bondi. In Bondi, you will have the chance to take a short coastal walk or venture onto the white sands of Bondi beach and dip you toes in the ocean.

The tour then heads to the fashionable suburb of Paddington where you will travel down some of Sydney’s historic laneways where you will get a glimpse of the trendy high fashion stores, private art galleries and an array of old-world pubs.

Your touring will continue back to the city through the pretty back streets of fashionable Woollahra, with its boutique shops, popular pubs, restaurants and cafes.

At approximately 5:30 pm your tour will conclude, at which point your guide will return you to your Sydney accommodation.

Flat, comfortable shoes or joggers are recommended aboard “Iluka” charter vessel

Compared it to travel agent's booking and caught the discrepancy. Would have missed plane back to the states !
