Description

Local knowledge is often the key to experiencing the very best of any destination. So what better way to experience the spectacular wilderness of the Blue Mountains than with your very own private local guide at the helm? This is not your everyday Blue Mountains tour, it is so much more!

Your tour will begin at 09:00am with a pick-up from your Sydney CBD accommodation. From your accommodation you will begin the journey towards Sydney’s Blue Mountains. Shaped by towering sandstone escarpments and covered in lush Australian forestry and grazing wildlife this is quintessential Australian bushland.

Located just 90 minutes from Sydney, the wild nature of the Blue Mountains is a literal breath of fresh air. Your local guide will lead the way in discovering hidden lookouts and the best paths to take to view endless waterfalls. They will also be able to take you to the legendary ‘Three Sisters’ and explain the history of these curious rock formations.

Lunch will provide the perfect opportunity to relax and unwind, and there will also be an opportunity for some shopping in Leura.

The history surrounding the Blue Mountains is incredibly fascinating, with Aboriginal tribes having lived off the land for generations. The land was also settled by the British around 300 years ago.

There is so much to experience in the Blue Mountains and your guide will help you to discover and climb the famous “Giant Staircase” near Katoomba.

Your tour will conclude on arrival back at your Sydney CBD accommodation – this will be approximately 5:00pm.

Compared it to travel agent's booking and caught the discrepancy. Would have missed plane back to the states !
