What else could possibly be on your checklist? Well, scan your list no more and just book this excursion already. You'll meet your captain close to the ship and start your water-based adventure with a scenic cruise by Dickenson and Jumby bays. Antigua is known to have some of the best beaches in the Caribbean and these two spots showcase their beauty in the perfect sense. Your local guide will give you the rundown on the area along the way and explain the history of the island as you cruise between spots.
A stop at Bird Island will give you the chance to explore the scenery you have just been gawking at. Once ashore, grab some snorkeling gear and head off the shoreline to see what lies beneath the pristine waters. If snorkeling isn't your thing, kick your feet up with one of the crew members as they prepare your lobster lunch with homemade recipes. If you were wondering what the perfect break from snorkeling is, we are pretty confident that it's feasting on lobster. Fresh off the grill and out of the shell, lunch on a secluded island will never taste this good. Following lunch you can either dig your feet into the sand a bit longer or head out on a brief hike to a lookout of the island that provides a superb panorama.
From Bird Island you will head to the Starfish garden near Maiden Island for some additional snorkeling or shallow water relaxation. Here you can spot a variety of tropical fish and starfish before hopping back aboard for a casual ride back to the ship.
