Leave the ship in Sihanoukville after acquiring your visa and meet your driver and guide at the port. Enjoy a short transfer to the airport of Sihanoukville where a private helicopter awaits you to fly you to the capital of Cambodia; Phnom Penh. Situated in between two rivers, the Mekong River and the Tonle Sap River, Phnom Penh is nowadays a bustling city and its ochre-colored colonial buildings, bustling squares, trendy cafés, and frangipani-lined boulevards create an atmosphere that is unlike any other city in Southeast Asia.

Arrive at Phnom Penh international airport and meet your driver. Together with your guide start a day tour of Phnom Penh’s most noticeable attractions. Visit the National Museum first and learn more about Cambodia’s early years with a curator of the museum. This professional historian knows the artifacts and history like no one else and is a wealth of information. After the museum visit enjoy a delicious lunch at one of Phnom Penh’s top restaurants.

In the afternoon continue to the Royal Palace, which is together with the Silver Pagoda the most striking building in the capital and considered as some of the finest examples of Khmer architecture. The Royal Palace is home to the current King Sihamoni. The neighboring Silver Pagoda stands out in its own distinctive way. The floor consists of 5,329 solid silver tiles to which the building owes its name.

Continue afterwards to the Killing Fields also known as Cheung Ek, which was made famous by the movie “The Killing Fields”. Nowadays, a large memorial has been built to commemorate the 17,000 victims who died here under the reign of Khmer Rouge leader, Pol Pot. This journey into Cambodia’s past will provide you with a background on the cruelty of the Khmer Rouge regime. It will also give you an appreciation of the struggle that Cambodian people have faced and their tremendous courage to move on and rebuild their nation.

After this intriguing visit, return by car to the airport where the helicopter awaits you to bring you back to Sihanoukville airport. Once there, your guide and driver will safely bring you back to the port.

In Cozumel we enjoyed the snorkeling that we did off a catamaran. The staff was friendly, very professional, and helpful with my first time snorkeling daughter. Grand Cayman we went to sting ray city with a trip and snorkeling. Staff and trip was amazing, crew very helpful and fun. in Jamaica we did a Dunn's River Falls excursion and private beach. We had fun but were not impressed with the staff, and their timeliness (waited around alot),
