After Les Baux, you will drive to Saint-Rémy and make your way on foot through this quiet village. Take some time for shopping, and stop for lunch (on your own). Just outside the town you will find two well-preserved Roman monuments: an arch of triumph and a Mausoleum, both of which you will visit after lunch. You will also visit Van Gogh’s psychiatric hospital, where he stayed for one year after cutting his ear off, and where he painted his most famous paintings: Starry Night, The Irises, Olive Tree Fields. Get a chance to visit the reconstruction of his room before driving back to the harbor (visit NOT included).
