Once you arrive, you'll participate in several activities while invigorated by the fresh Alaskan air. This fun activity for the whole family has you boarding a dogsled with wheels, instead of runners, and takes place on ground, instead of snow. The dogsled handles 4-6 people at a time, so while some enjoy the approximately 20-minute ride pulled by the dogs, others will play with the puppies left behind.
You'll also have time to visit the North's premier wildlife exhibit at Caribou Crossing's Wildlife Museum, which includes 100 Yukon and Ice Age mammals, as well as the world's largest polar bear! During your stay, you'll also enjoy a great lunch of BBQ chicken and all the trimmings.
Scenic features on this tour include the World's Smallest Desert, the brilliant Emerald Lake, and views of fantastic waterfalls and glaciers (weather permitting). The White Pass Summit, Tutshi, Tagish, Bennett Lake, and Tormented Valley will all become memorable parts of your journey as you travel up the mountain and back down again.
