Following your pickup at the cruise ship pier, you will take a 15-minute drive to your departure point. Arriving at a family-owned float house, you will already have been versed on Ketchikan's long history, which provides the perfect talking point while getting fitted for your life jacket, water boots, and water cycle. Sneak in a quick stretch and you are on your way!
An exploration of Ward Cove and the Tongass Narrows for just under 2 hours provides the perfect amount of time to see the best of Ketchikan. From discovering remnants of the fishing and timber industries to searching the shores for eagles and bears, you will learn about all the aspects that make Ketchikan one of the most treasured Alaskan destinations.
The tour ends with a well-deserved Alaskan-style picnic back at the float house. Take one more gaze across the water before heading back to the dock downtown.
