A naturalist guide will point out and discuss the flora and fauna of North America's northern-most temperate rain forest. You'll nibble on edible leaves, flowers, and berries; explore traditional and contemporary herb lore; identify bird song and animal behaviors; and listen to stories about Native and Alaskan history.
When blueberry season is in full swing, the trail is blooming with scrumptious delights sure to please anyone. Keep an eye out and, if you're lucky, you may even see a moose as you hike along!

Special instructions: - Guests should check in 15 minutes prior to the tour's departure time. Total length of tour does not include transfer time to and from Girdwood (1-1.5 hours each way). We suggest that you rent a car. The drive is easy and the scenery is beautiful.
