Next, we will continue on through the heart of Annapolis farmland all the way to the Lookoff. From here, you can see most of the Annapolis Valley floor--an amazing sight!
On the Fundy side of the North Mountain is Hall’s Harbor. This small fishing village is one of the best places to see the evidence of the highest recorded tides in the world. At low tide, the wharf is high and dry while fishing boats wait patiently on the harbor bottom for the tide to rise and take them out to sea again.
You will have time to explore the area and then we'll enjoy a fresh 1.25 pound lobster lunch at the Lobster Pound (included) with choice of potato, roll, coleslaw, tea, coffee or soft drink, plus a yummy dessert!
After lunch, we'll continue to the Gaspereau Winery, on the south side of South Mountain. This is one of the younger wineries in the Annapolis valley. Known as a boutique winery, it is set on the slopes of Gaspereau Valley and creates premium estate-grown and limited edition wines that reflect the care and passion of the owners. Here, you will have time to taste a number of these wines, plus a premium tasting (included).
Later, back to the pier.
