Description

Visit the Diocletian's Palace, one of the most famous monuments in Croatia. The Palace, which covers an area of over nine acres, was ordered built by the Roman emperor Diocletian and served as a combination palace and military camp. Hundreds of years later, refugees from Salona occupied the ruins and the interior was converted into a town. Although the city spread out into the surrounding area over time, the palace still constitutes the inner core of the city. You will find that it is full of shops, markets, squares, and more.

Now you are on to the ruins of Salona and the city of Trogir. Visit the Mestrovic Gallery, as well as a village market for a taste of local flavor. In the 3rd century, Salona was home to over 40,000 inhabitants. Accompany your guide on a tour that explores the excavated ruins, including the amphitheatre, burial grounds, early Christian churches, and baths.

You will also visit the old medieval city of Trogir, perched atop a small island that is connected to the mainland via a small bridge. This walled city contains charming narrow lanes lined with stone houses, palaces, churches, and monasteries. Take some free time to wander around and explore, and visit the Town Hall and Cipiko Palace.

In Cozumel we enjoyed the snorkeling that we did off a catamaran. The staff was friendly, very professional, and helpful with my first time snorkeling daughter. Grand Cayman we went to sting ray city with a trip and snorkeling. Staff and trip was amazing, crew very helpful and fun. in Jamaica we did a Dunn's River Falls excursion and private beach. We had fun but were not impressed with the staff, and their timeliness (waited around alot),
