This tour will introduce you to a lush and beautiful countryside which, to us, is reminiscent of that of Europe. Your drive with us will take you through lush mountains to the colourful Grenville Market on the Atlantic coast. Grenville is the island's second-largest city and it has retained its historical identity as a French colonial market town. One of the sights you will see are the deteriorating Cuban and Soviet planes sitting at the end of an old runway, abandoned after the 1983 intervention.

You will also see the beautiful Annadale Falls on your scenic island drive and have time to stop for a swim if you choose. A mountain stream cascades 40 feet into a natural pool that is surrounded by exotic vines. If you prefer, enjoy a short nature walk as well.

Grenada produces and processes 1/3 of the world’s nutmeg supply, and with the cultivation of spices such as cloves, cinnamon, mace, ginger and turmeric, there are more spices per square mile than any other place in the world! You will learn lots about why Grenada is called the Spice Island during the tour. This is a town that buzzes with people doing their daily marketing so savor your stop at Grenville Market. In front of you find displays of both recognizable and special fruits and vegetables. Your guide will have the answers to all your questions about seasonings so take a chance and bring some home.

Also included is a stop by the seaside village of Soubise to observe the making of straw hats. Best to pick one up as a way to shade yourself for the rest of your vacation, and it will remind you of Grenada every time you see it once you are home.

Finally there is a fascination with the old Russian planes that are still sitting at the airport here. A quick stop towards the end of your tour will show you another side of the Caribbean, one that brings you back to understand the value of the islands and how so many powerful countries had their eye on this and others in the past.

In Cozumel we enjoyed the snorkeling that we did off a catamaran. The staff was friendly, very professional, and helpful with my first time snorkeling daughter. Grand Cayman we went to sting ray city with a trip and snorkeling. Staff and trip was amazing, crew very helpful and fun. in Jamaica we did a Dunn's River Falls excursion and private beach. We had fun but were not impressed with the staff, and their timeliness (waited around alot),

We did a private whale watching tour which was incredible. The train ride in Sitka which we were not going to do at first was spectacular. Scenery, comfort - a wonderful way to see the area and spend our time. We signed up for a Mendenhall Glacier trip plus Salmon bake. This one was so very commercial and although the glacier and waterfall were above our expectations, a short time was given to walk there and view. This left out two of our party as they could not move as fast as needed to return in the time frame of one hour. Then the BAKE- the food was marginally ok. They were out of the most important SMORES ingredients. It is crazy but that was advertised (we were willing to break our diets ) and we looked forward to them and then disappointed. The people were nice. the area was pretty but that one I would strongly advise friend not to sign up for.

Great experience. The tours of the Louvre, and Notrre Dame were great. The guide even helped me try to get Eiffel tower admission tickets switched after I had booked them on the wrong date.
