Day 1
Arusha, Tanzania
Legendary Lodge Lunch, Dinner

On arrival in Kilimanjaro international airport, you will be met and transferred to your lodge in Arusha town. The drive from Kilimanjaro airport to Arusha town takes approximately one hour.

Located on the outskirts of Arusha in lush tropical gardens and surrounded by a working coffee farm, The Legendary Coffee Lodge is one of a kind in Tanzania. Come and enjoy inspiring views of Mount Meru from the privacy of your own garden cottage whilst lodge staff takes care of your every whim!

A convenient distance from both airports, the lodge is 10 minutes drive from the Arusha airport and 50 minutes from Kilimanjaro International Airport.

Six garden cottages named after antelope in Kiswahili with a private verandah and stunning views of Mount Meru, make for the perfect place to relax before or after a safari. The interiors have been designed with a unique blend of African arts & crafts combined with Western comforts and old colonial style luxury. Each en suite cottage features comfortable split level living including king size beds with mosquito nets, lounge with fireplace, direct dial phone, broadband connection, complimentary mini-bar & fruit basket and bathrooms each with a bathtub, shower and full range of amenities.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Sanctuary Swala Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

After breakfast at the lodge this morning you will check out and drive for about two hours to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy game drives en route, arrive to your Camp for lunch.

Swala Camp is located within Tarangire National Park borders on the slopes of the Tarangire Valley in a sheltered seclusion beneath the shade of umbrella thorn trees on the gentle slopes of the Tarangire Valley.

The luxurious canvas pavilions are shaded by tall acacia trees and all are within sight of the well-frequented water hole which regularly draws lions, leopards and resident bull elephants, for which Sanctuary Swala is famed for. The tents feature a spacious open plan arrangement with comfortable king or twin beds, campaign chairs and plush sofas, as well as en suite bathroom with both indoor and outdoor shower. Each tent has its own personal attendant who will attend to guests' every need.

After lunch, you will go for the afternoon game drive.

Day 3
Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
Sanctuary Swala Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You have a full day game drives in Tarangire National Park today.

As the sun rises above the ancient baobab trees, venture out into Tarangire in search of Lion and cheetah whilst large herds of elephant roam the park en route to their favorite swamp. You may like to spend the full day game viewing in the park with a picnic lunch to be enjoyed at a dramatic look out or you may prefer to incorporate some leisure time at your lodge between morning and afternoon game drives.

Tarangire National Park is one of the finest parks in Tanzania. Centered on the Tarangire River, this park has expansive views with wide panoramas of wooded savannah stretching in every direction. The most outstanding feature is the Tarangire River, which is permanent, and the only reliable dry-season source of water available to wildlife in a vast stretch of Tanzania's Rift Valley, attracting tremendous concentrations of animals.

Day 4
Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, Tanzania

After breakfast at the camp this morning you will check out and drive to Manyara National Park for game viewing.

However you approach Lake Manyara National Park, your first view is spectacular. Lake Manyara National Park has a wide variety of habitats attracting a host of different animals. The birdlife is fascinating, with pelicans, storks, geese sharing the water with migrant flamingoes that turn the crystalline edges of the lake a bright pink.

After a game drive in the park, you will drive to your lodge in Ngorongoro highlands where you arrive for late lunch. Located adjacent to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area within the 1500 acre, Shangri-La Estate, The Manor at Ngorongoro is reminiscent of an elegant, up country farm home in the Cape Dutch style of architecture.

The Manor at Ngorongoro, with its 20 luxurious guest cottage suites, is a luxury safari experience fusing East African safari hospitality with old world Afro-European architecture and decor.

Day 5
Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, Tanzania

After a very early breakfast at the lodge, you will check out with picnic lunches and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater floor for game viewing.

Your game drive today will be like no other as you visit one of the most dramatic safari destinations in Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend to the crater floor in search of the big 5 with the back drop of the forest covered crater walls surrounding you, creating stunning back drops for all of your wildlife photographs. Travel through the Lerai Forest looking for leopard and onto the plains where the wildebeest and zebra graze whilst cheetah and lion lay and watch. Old elephants pass your vehicle whilst further afield rhino wander and hippos hide in the pools. A picnic lunch is provided so you can maximize your day in the crater.

Visit Maasai village.

The Masai are semi nomadic people and one of the most recognisable tribes in East Africa with their red shukas and elaborate beading. Visit a Masai Boma today and meet with the village elder who will introduce you to the traditional Masai lifestyle and culture that has been maintained successfully for centuries and still continues to thrive in our ever changing world.

After the crater and Maasai village experience you will ascend and drive to your lodge at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater.

Ngorongoro Crater Lodge is dramatically beautiful, perched at the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater with spectacular views of the World Heritage Site.

Day 6
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Mwiba Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

06:30 – Breakfast,

07:00 – Transferred to Manyara airstrip

09:50 – Fly schedule to Mwiba.

10:15 – Arrive Mwiba, met by a Mwiba guide and transferred to the lodge.

Mwiba, is a secluded, sophisticated haven set among massive stone boulders, ancient coral trees and acacias, overlooking a rocky gorge on the Arugusinyai River. Set in harmony with this idyllic natural backdrop, Mwiba offers an unmatched experience in luxury adventure. It mixes both traditional and modern design elements, creating an inviting, sophisticated hideaway.

The interiors artfully integrate the natural surroundings with layers of textured creams paired with suede, tans and accents of chocolate and charcoal. From the linen dressed slope-armed sofas to ornately carved wooden leg tables and cascading lighting, the eight double suites all give way to a wide-open layout where each room flows to another. Day 7

You have a full day game drive at Mwiba.

Game drives, bush walks and cultural excursions to the local tribe’s village are just a few of the magical experiences that begin at the Mwiba, where a world of adventure awaits.

Day 8
Arusha, Tanzania
Legendary Lodge Breakfast, Lunch

08:00 – Breakfast,

09:00 – Transferred to the airstrip,

10:30 – Fly by schedule flight to Arusha.

11:45 – Arrive Arusha, met and transferred to Legendary Lodge where you will have lunch and day room use.

Later in the evening, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro Airport for your departure flight.
