Day 1
Arusha, Tanzania
Lake Duluti Lodge Dinner

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport where you will clear immigration procedures and collect your bags before being met by our representative and assisted with your transfer to your hotel in Arusha located 1 hour approximately from the airport.

Just 10 minutes from Arusha town lies the scenic Crater Lake named 'Duluti' and on its shores is Lake Duluti Lodge. The lodge is made up of 18 contemporary African styled chalets ideally positioned in a thirty acre active coffee farm. All chalets are positioned to face the coffee farm and each has a private deck.

Canoeing trips on Lake Duluti, hiking in the Great Duluti Forest, Bird watching and Coffee tours are different ways to explore the area or if you prefer to relax in your beautiful surroundings enjoy a sundowner on the lake shore.

Day 2
Serengeti National Park, Tanzania
Green Camps Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will have breakfast at Duluti Lodge.

06:30 Your driver will meet you at your city hotel and transfer you to Arusha Airport for your onward flight.

08:00 Approximately flying by light aircraft from Arusha to Seronera will take approximately 1 hour 3 0minutes.

09:30 Approximate arrival in Seronera. Arrive in the Serengeti and enjoy a game drive en route to your Green Camps.

One of the world's last great wildlife refuges, the Serengeti, stretches between the Ngorongoro Highlands and Lake Victoria. The name comes from the Maasai word siringet, meaning "endless plains". Every year, triggered by the rains, 1.3 million wildebeest, 200,000 zebra and 300,000 Thomson's gazelle gather to undertake the long trek to new grazing lands.

Day 3

You will have breakfast at the Green Camp.

After breakfast, you will regroup and starts your walking tour with your guides, time will be observed as per briefing given. The aim of the walk is not to walk as far as possible. It is about become immersed in one of the wilderness places left on the Planet.

By leaving manmade structures far behind, vehicle and other human influences, is the only way for our senses to sharpen and to become attuned to all the extra ordinary sensory and elemental aspects of Africa raw wilderness.

The farthest we will walk in any given day will be approximately 15kms. You are either based in one camp location and carry out day walks from there, or move the camp and move from location to location. We generally suggest keeping the camp in one location for two days then move to a new location, and walking between the two locations.

Day 4

After breakfast, spend the day walking in Central Serengeti with your walking guides. After dinner, overnight at Green Camp.

Day 5

08:00 After breakfast, you will be picked by your driver and depart for Southern Serengeti plains in pursuit of migration.

The landscape of the southern Serengeti is characterized by treeless plains where the eye can see for miles to the Ngorongoro crater rising from the horizon in the distance. The plains are dotted with rocky outcrops known as kopje’s where lion often laze the day away. Cheetah favor this landscape and can often be seen sitting atop an old termite mount scanning for its next meal. Spend your day exploring the extensive plains in search of the big cats and other plains game including Thomson gazelle, zebra and wildebeest. If you would like to maximize your time game viewing you can take a picnic lunch out into the park and enjoy a meal out in the vast savannah before returning to your camp later in the day.

Sanctuary Kusini is a secluded bush camp set in a cluster of kopjes on the grassy, southern plains of the Serengeti National Park. Tucked into the natural curves of the surrounding kopjes the camp hosts a maximum of 26 guests in 12 large safari tents, with wooden floors, built on private elevated terraces overlooking the Serengeti plains or the surrounding forest. Set in a remote region of the Serengeti, the camp offers the opportunity for secluded game drives with expert guides, dedicated cheetah watch drives and Star safaris. Cheetah, elephant, lion, buffalo, giraffe and leopard are seen around camp year round whilst the spectacular annual wildebeest migration arrives on the plains from mid December to late March, when hordes of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle mass around the camp for the birthing of their young.

Day 6

Sanctuary Kusini Camp Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will have breakfast at Sanctuary Kusini camp.

Spend your day exploring the extensive plains of the Serengeti in search of the ‘Big 5’. If you would like to maximize your time game viewing you can take a picnic lunch out into the park and enjoy a meal out in the vast savannah before returning to your lodge later in the day.

Day 7
Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area, Tanzania
Acacia Farm Lodge Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner

You will have breakfast at Kusini camp.

08:00 Arise early for the chance to see the wildlife starting their day with a game drive en route to the airstrip.

10:00 The Serengeti South to Lake Manyara is an remarkable flight by light aircraft that takes approximately 1hour 50minutes.

10:40 You will arrive Manyara air strip, met by your guide and proceed over land to Ngorongoro Crater.

08:00 Your game drive today will be like no other as you visit one of the most dramatic safari destinations in Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater. Descend to the crater floor in search of the big 5 with the back drop of the forest covered crater walls surrounding you, creating stunning back drops for all of your wildlife photographs.

This afternoon, you will visit a Maasai village.

The Maasai are semi nomadic people and one of the most recognizable tribes in East Africa with their red shukas and elaborate beading. Visit a Maasai Boma today and meet with the village elder who will introduce you to the traditional Maasai lifestyle and culture that has been maintained successfully for centuries and still continues to thrive in our ever changing world.

Day 8
Arusha, Tanzania
KIA Lodge Breakfast, Lunch

You will have breakfast at the lodge.

08:00 After breakfast drive to Arusha on tarmac road taking approximately 3.5 hours, on arrival Arusha you might want to have a quick shopping before proceeding overland to Kilimanjaro Airport where you will check in your airport hotel KIA Lodge.

Centrally placed between the northern towns of Moshi and Arusha, KIA Lodge is ideally situated whatever your onward journey, be it climbing the world's highest free standing mountain or starting a safari into some of Africa's amazing and unique wildlife wildernesses such as the Serengeti National Park and Ngorongoro crater to name just two.

18:00 After lunch transfer to Kilimanjaro airport taking just 3-5 minutes drive for your departing flight.
