Arrive in Las Vegas, where you are met by your driver-guide and chauffeured to Springdale, Utah, located just outside the entrance to Zion National Park. En route, visit Grafton, a ghost town dating from the 1850s that suffered frequent floods and attacks by local indigenous tribes. View the well-preserved town cemetery before continuing to your destination for a casual dinner in town, and a relaxing evening at the hotel.

Day 2

Zion National Park | Canyoneering Adventure

Chauffeured by your driver-guide, kick off your trip with a full-day private guided canyoneering adventure around Zion National Park. Canyoneering is one of the most exciting ways to experience Zion’s unique desert landscape, combining hikes, climbs and rappels down narrow slot canyons ranging from 20 to 175 feet high. Gain an incredible new perspective as you learn canyoneering techniques from your local expert guides, then round out the day with a cool swim in a lush desert oasis. Snacks, water and all your equipment is provided, just bring your thirst for adventure! Afterwards, be privately transferred back into town for an evening at your leisure.

Bryce Canyon | In the Bryce Amphitheater

Chauffeured by your driver-guide, start your day with a scenic ride on Highway 9 through the Zion Tunnel. Arrive at Bryce Canyon National Park, and begin a breathtaking hiking tour through its stunning natural amphitheater. Bryce Canyon is home to some of the continent’s most intricate and detailed rock formations, as myriad reds and orange hues blast the landscapes with pyramidal towers, hoodoos, and more. Stop for a picnic lunch among a grove of 2000-year-old Bristlecone pine trees, then continue onwards to the best viewpoints that the park has to offer. Don’t forget to bring your camera! After your hike concludes, your driver will ferry you to your next hotel, the Stone Canyon Inn, where you will check-in and enjoy the remainder of your night at leisure.

Capitol Reef | The Hickman Bridge Trail

Head out this morning for a fascinating ride along Utah’s scenic ST 12 highway, considered one of the most beautiful drives in the United States. Passing through Dixie National Forest, you will arrive at Capitol Reef National Park in time for a picnic lunch amongst rock towers and naturally formed arches. Afterwards, join your guide on a customizable hike suited to your interests and abilities through Capitol Reef’s spectacular canyons and cliffs. Pass over natural bridges that span the unique Waterpocket Fold, then head to Goblin Valley State Park for breathtaking photography opportunities. Continue your drive through the world's richest fossil beds, located in the Badlands of Utah, before reaching the alluring Sorrel River Ranch, your home for the next two nights. Enjoy a leisurely evening at the ranch, situated on the banks of the Colorado River and surrounded by Southern Utah's incredible red rock canyons.

Rafting the Colorado River

Begin another rousing day of adventure, as you embark on a state-of-the-art inflatable whitewater boat and run the mighty rapids of the Colorado River. Cut through Cataract Canyon, a section of the river that travels through the center of the Canyonlands. Take in the incredible views while lazily drifting along the upper river, as your guide points out the unique onshore flora and fauna. Swim, hike, or simply enjoy the sun during this excursion. Pull up on a river bank and dine on a buffet-style picnic lunch, before heading downstream to enter the much anticipated whitewater rapids. If you would prefer a less rigorous day, you may opt for a calm-water cruise instead. Finish the tour by zipping across Lake Powell to meet your driver-guide, and return to your hotel.

Today, meet your private guide for a day of exploring the stunning Arches National Park. Get ready to hike and drive through the park, scoping out unusual geologic formations such as the famed Delicate Arch, the Marching Men, and the Eye of The Whale. Enjoy a picnic lunch at a scenic overlook, then continue on your hike, climbing over rocks, cutting through valleys and traversing sandstone fins and dunes. Along the way, your expert guide will offer an informative perspective on the land and its wildlife. Wander past seven distinct natural arches in the Devil’s Garden, check out the fossilized remains of real dinosaur tracks, and be treated to breathtaking vistas of the surrounding desert terrain. After your tour, your driver will transfer you to your next destination, Bluff, Utah.

Today you will travel overland to Monument Valley, the awe-inspiring landscape immortalized by director John Ford in many a classic western movie. Marked by rugged sandstone towers that jut into the clouds, this amazing area has been known as the “land of long shadows” by local tribes for centuries. You will learn about the valley’s natural and human history, as a local expert leads you to landmarks only accessible with a private, licensed Navajo guide. Your guide will be a local Navajo who grew up in or around Monument Valley, and will be more than happy to share stories about their culture and heritage. Enjoy lunch at your leisure before setting out on the next leg of your scenic drive towards the crown jewel of the West, the Grand Canyon.

The Grand Canyon | The Crown Jewel of the WestThis morning, you will conclude your trip with a comprehensive exploration of the Grand Canyon. Enjoy incredible views of the its South Rim, the Colorado River, and the Painted Desert during a private guided hike that will reveal the flora, fauna and other secrets of this astonishing world wonder. Learn how the canyon was carved out by the forces of erosion over the course of five million years, and its significance to the local indigenous peoples that have inhabited the area for millennia. Enjoy an elegant lunch in the dining room of the historic Hotel Tovar, located directly on the canyon rim, then embark on a group helicopter tour over the canyon to take in unforgettable, sweeping views of the canyon from a unique perspective rarely enjoyed by visitors to the park. For an additional fee, you may elect to take a private helicopter flight instead, offering enhanced privacy and personalization. Afterwards, say goodbye to the Southwest before being transferred to either Phoenix or Las Vegas for your evening flight home.

Jazz and Historical Tour

We took two private tours: one for the historical aspect and one for history of jazz. Both were amazing and would do them again. We were fortunate to have Tyler as a guide and he was top notch. I can’t say enough positive about him: intelligent, personable, knowledgeable and entertaining. We had a private car as well and would recommend that as well.

Absolutely was a treat for us four women...our driver, Cesar was soooo nice to us and helpful in everything we asked of him...He was very knowledgeable about the city and sights...always punctual when picking us up...he was a real gentleman...I will recommend him to any of my friends traveling to that area....thank you very much for making our trip very special...

The LA downtown food tour was superb! Sally with Sixtastes was a great guide! We got excellent food from different cultures while learning about downtown's history. Definitely will do again!
