Beginning at Sea Level and ending 1085 Metres higher on Table Mountain, this day focus on exploring the Atlantic Seaboard in a fun and engaging way for children. Following in the footsteps of ‘Stan the Strandloper’ we will take in the city sites before seeing them from a different perspective on the mountain top.

Sleep Easy… Our guides are top adventurers in their own right, and focused on creating a day that is purely for your enjoyment. Your Private Cape Adventure unfolds at your own pace – if you feel uneasy about anything, please talk to your guide.

The weather is our compass and your enthusiasm our wrist watch

We plan each adventure according to your interests. Our Cape weather can change at a moment’s notice, and this is where we use our knowledge of hidden spots and local conditions to make the most of each day, no matter what is thrown at us.

Likewise, should we find ourselves having so much fun that we do not want to drag ourselves away, the day’s plans can be changed at the drop of a hat! No two tours are the same.

What is provided?

During activities we supply energy snacks and refreshments.

Between activities more substantial treats from our gourmet pantry are on offer.

Chilled wine, beer, ice teas, chilled waters and G&T’s are also on board.

What to expect

The day will begin by Stand up Paddling and Shell collecting at one of our favourite spots, either at the V&A Waterfront in sheltered canals, or in the Camps Bay Tidal Pool. Your guide will recommend the perfect spot for new comers and youngsters to learn how to SUP, in a safe an idyllic location by the Atlantic Sea.

Proceed to explore the city, by cycling between the Art Installations with locals on the Sea Point Promenade and getting to know the city by foot. Learn fascinating stories that tell Cape Town’s history and modern day make up, engaging and overlooked by so many. Here, we will embark a a Treasure Hunt in the footsteps of ‘Stan the Strandloper’. This is a fun and engaging 3-5 km treasure hunt along the Atlantic Seaboard, using a Treasure Map the children follow various clues between the art works on the Sea Point Promenade.

At the Green Point Biodiversity Garden the children will be able to taste and sniff all kinds of fynbos to create their own brew under the guidance of the guide.

Stopping for a relaxing lunch in the heart of the city, at the Company Garden's where you can truly immerse yourself in this peaceful surrounding and feel like a local!

After a leisurely lunch, we will summit Table Mountain taking in the 360 views while tracking Dassies (Mountain Rock Rabbits) that can often be spotted on the table top. We will finish the day with an afternoon tea picnic in a memorable location.

GREAT GUIDE

Our guide, Ryan Straus, was professional and knowledgeable. He assessed our personalities and our specific interests and adjusted our daily schedule to match. In addition, he was able to encourage us to see and do some things that we didn't even know we wanted to do! A very personal guided tour with a fun and warm young man. He is an asset to Triumph Travel.

Our experience with Triumph travel was out of this world. The whole trip was a trip of a lifetime. We only had on small hiccup, and it was handled very quickly and efficiently. When we landed in Capetown, we realized that no one was there to pick us up and drive us to the Winelands. We called the travel company, and sixth star travel, and within 10 minutes there was a luxury car there to take us to the Windlands. The tour company did not have our updated flight itinerary , as the original itinerary had us coming in 3 hours later. They really stepped us and took care of the situation.

Our day in the South African wine country with Triumph Travel was great. Our driver, Leonard, was very knowledgeable of the various wineries and the whole wine country. We enjoyed very much talking with him about his personal life and growing up in the Cape Town area. He treated us at the end of the tour with a surprise stop at the prison that Nelson Mandela was finally released from. It turned out to a real highlight of the day.
