Description

Experience Cape Town from above, and get a completely new perspective on the Mother City.

There is no better way to take in Cape Town’s majestic landscape, than from the air. This tour will give you an unparalleled perspective on the city’s most iconic landmarks, with spectacular ocean and mountain vistas - from the Waterfront all the way around the Southern-most tip of Africa. This is a popular experience, so make sure you reserve in advance.

What to expect

This tour promises views from the air that are unparalleled, affirming Sir Francis Drake’s claim that the Cape is by far the fairest cape in “the whole circumference of the earth”. Beginning at the V&A Waterfront, this tour includes magnificent views of Robben Island, Table Mountain, the City Bowl through to the beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay, past the 12 Apostles, Llandudno, Chapman’s Peak, Noordhoek, False Bay and Cape Point, through Simons Town, Fish Hoek, Constantia, District Six, Woodstock and landing back at the Waterfront.

From take-off to landing, this tour is guaranteed to leave you speechless on more than one occasion. If you’re one of those people that prefer a window seat, then this tour will no doubt be the highlight of your trip. No tours are exactly the same; with whale spottings, shipwrecks, and picturesque mountain views - this is perhaps the only perspective which includes everything the Cape Peninsula has to offer, in one breathtaking view.

We have a wide range of exciting excursions that can be done by helicopter, so make sure you ask us about all the different options available.

GREAT GUIDE

By: Kandee

Our guide, Ryan Straus, was professional and knowledgeable. He assessed our personalities and our specific interests and adjusted our daily schedule to match. In addition, he was able to encourage us to see and do some things that we didn't even know we wanted to do! A very personal guided tour with a fun and warm young man. He is an asset to Triumph Travel.

Our experience with Triumph travel was out of this world. The whole trip was a trip of a lifetime. We only had on small hiccup, and it was handled very quickly and efficiently. When we landed in Capetown, we realized that no one was there to pick us up and drive us to the Winelands. We called the travel company, and sixth star travel, and within 10 minutes there was a luxury car there to take us to the Windlands. The tour company did not have our updated flight itinerary , as the original itinerary had us coming in 3 hours later. They really stepped us and took care of the situation.

Our day in the South African wine country with Triumph Travel was great. Our driver, Leonard, was very knowledgeable of the various wineries and the whole wine country. We enjoyed very much talking with him about his personal life and growing up in the Cape Town area. He treated us at the end of the tour with a surprise stop at the prison that Nelson Mandela was finally released from. It turned out to a real highlight of the day.
